My 2 children and I stayed at the Saxonia in Weston in May for 3 nights, the owners of the Guest House are very friendly and chatty. Unfortunately the Guest House was next door to flat containing young people who played loud music one night we were there - the owner of the Saxonia kindly went to speak to them... More

Awful smell as we walk in, the owner wasn't very presentable and since when did we have to pay for a room up front?! Smelt awful of musky dirt and damp. Room was ok but nothing special hasn't changed since The Hotel Inspector had been years ago. Bathroom was dirty and towels threadbare. Awful for parking and not as close... More

The Saxonia is a small B&B that is in need of a make over. Room 2 was very noisy and small, for me being a large lad it was very cramped. With a price tag of £70 it's just not worth it. The breakfast was good day and I think the room would suit a single person on a short... More

After booking online then reading the bad reviews we had alot of second thoughts, but seeing as though it would be a bust weekend (westons carnival) we decided to go ahead. We were not disappointed we had room 6 and it was worth climbing to the top floor, the room was lovely and clean and very light with a huge... More

The first thing that needs to be said is that this is not a "horror review" but if you are thinking about booking into the Saxonia Guest House then you should probably read this. In fact there were some very good things about this hotel. The wifi was free and worked well. The bed was comfy. The staff were reasonably... More

Food at breakfast ample and tasted good, rooms need dusting but bedding clean. nOisy in morning, Table napkins grey. rOom we had fair sized. hOtel smells of damp, and you can see damp down walls. Smelt like a damp proofing agent was being used, kept the window open all night

My partner and I stayed in this guest house for two nights. Given the price I wasn't expecting it to be amazing, but had I known how bad it was going to be I would never have stayed. Upon arrival at the guest house there were cigarette butts all over the floor leading to the front door, i knew at... More
