I booked 2 nights (26/9)as a surprise for my daughter & her new husband, as they didn’t have a honeymoon planned due to Covid restrictions. I paid extra to upgrade to their Superking Room, which looked gorgeous on their website. I also paid for a bottle of Prosecco to be put in their room for their arrival. When my daughter & her husband arrived, they found to their horror, a dirty room, 2 single beds zipped together, bathroom was very grubby, view of the Golf Course was really a view of the main road. The glasses had lipstick on them, rather alarming given the current strict Covid guidelines on cleanliness. My daughter was so upset to have to ring me & tell me. I told them bite to check out immediately. I then rang the Hotel & spoke to Management, who refuted the allegations but after I told him I had photographs that I would post on Social Media, he gave me a full refund. The following day I sent an email stating how disappointed I was, I suggested they address all the points I raised, I sent photos of the room, showing how grubby it was, and heard absolutely nothing back! So please be very careful if you are going to book a stay here. I paid £285 for 2 nights, out of season, so not cheap, but definitely not even a mediocre Hotel. It was absolutely appalling!

I never write reviews for places I've stayed unless they're really great or really rubbish and I'm pleased to say our stay at Beachlands was the former! A friend and I wanted a night's getaway, preferably with a pool, and a restaurant. The staff were friendly, the room was spotless and spacious and the pool was the perfect temperature, with ambient lighting. The food was all fresh and tasty and the location was perfect. The only slight downside being on the front of the hotel was the noise from the road, but this can be forgiven for the value for money. Thank you!

We stayed here last night and really enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable room facing the front of the hotel and the shower gel, body lotion etc smelled lovely. We had a nice dinner and a fantastic breakfast there this morning served by a lovely man. Thank you :)

This is a delightful family owned 3 star hotel WITH A POOL! I had frequent stays here when travelling on business but this was my first time back ( on holiday) after around 8 years. Since then it has both changed and remained the same. I recognised people working there. The friendliness and professionalism are unchanged. The decor has been updated and is lovely and there’s still a swimming pool; great to have a pre breakfast swim. I’m not a fan of a full English breakfast; my favourite alternative was the toasted brioche with bacon and cheese. The restaurant has a varied menu and there’s a very comfortable bar and lounge. Beachlands is a delightful unpretentious hotel. Highly recommended.
