Booked a night as we were going to a wedding at Hafod farm. We had the newly refurbished family suite room 23 which had a king-size bed and two singles...we paid £100 for our room which I thought was a bit steep seeing as there was only 2 of us. The bed was comfortable, it was reasonably clean although I... More

My partner booked this hotel for us on the Tuesday hoping to stay on the Saturday and got us a room thanks to the extremely helpful and accommodating staff! We have four chihuahuas also...this is crucial to mention as the hotel had no problem accepting us all to their hotel! We were so pleased! We arrived mid afternoon on the... More

My Wife and I, booked to stay at this Hotel as we were going to a wedding near by. On arrival we were told that the doors closed at 11pm so we would have to be back, that was a surprise as we thought it was a Hotel not an B and B. The Staff were great but the Hotel... More

We stayed here after climbing Snowdon and found it well placed, clean, comfortable with good food. The breakfast was tasty with a vegetarian option available. We were upgraded to a family suite with three rooms which had been newly refurbished. There was a problem with the shower which we were told about beforehand. There was a separate toilet, very handy!... More

We were a party of ten and stayed here after completing the '3 peaks' challenge, over 3 days. It was a family event with young and old in the party. After completing Snowdon we were all looking forward to a nice hot shower, good food and a comfy bed to sleep in. We got all 3 in abundance. The hotel... More

We paid an extra £10 for a superior room, not only did we struggle to fathom why it was superior- but the hotel manager also stumbled to provide any tangible definition of what makes it superior. I suspect they sold out of superior rooms, and gave us a standard room not quite as billed! Dinner, and Breakfast was lovely- staff... More

We were a large party of professionals, mostly Londeners, up for a walking weekend. We seemed to antagonise the locals who probably thought we were all bankers, or worse. The atmosphere in the Eagles Hotel was particularly disturbing. Our best advice, if you are too London, is don't go.

Four of us visited The Eagles Hotel Carvery today and it was superb!!! Excellent food with the choice of 4 starters and 3 meats- Beef/Turkey and Honey roast ham. As much as you would like with at least 6 veggies to pick from and huge Yorkshire puddings, stuffing and two types of gravy and a selection of sauces. They have... More

Arrived late after a horrendous drive. There was no one on reception so had to wait at the busy bar to check in, however, the gentleman who checked me in was very apologetic for the wait, he kept the kitchen open for me so I could get some food & helped me take everything to the room. The room was... More
