My second time staying at this fantastic hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for Nelson and Mary - they really do provide a first class service. With great weather to accompany my stay in north Wales, the meadowsweet will keep me returning to this beautiful part of the world. Thank you!

We stayed at the Meadowsweet for 2 nights and we will definitely be returning. The hotel is comfortable, welcoming and incredible value. The food is excellent, the rooms are modern and clean but the thing that really makes it is the team running the place. They are the friendliest bunch you will find and nothing is too much trouble. The...

We'd booked a family party here so we'd also booked three rooms. Parents and aunt were on the first floor and they had lovely light and big rooms. Our room was on the second floor. Be mindful that there are no lifts. We had a family room which had two singles and a double. Ideal for one night. Nothing wrong...

Taking advantage of the offer of 3 nights for the price of 2 in July I secured rooms 7 and 10 on the 2nd floor. Rm 10 appeared newly rennovated and was airy and enjoyable. However Rm 7 was tired with tiny shower/ w.c. with cracked sink in master bedroom. Towels rough and small. Travel iron small and awkward to...

Surprised to find this gem in the North of Wales. Looked OK from the outside but inside was a different world. The rooms very boutique style and the food in the restaurant is to die for. Could of sat in the bay window looking at the view all night.

Lovely little hotel and very friendly staff who couldn't do enough. We arrived quite late and were accommodated in the bar where we had an excellent meal and although not everything was on the menu due to it being changed we were offered a free sweet. Great location for exploring Snowdownia

Omg the guys that work here are so nice. I didn't get in to this hotel until close to two in the morning and without knowing that check out was at ten I didn't check out until one in the afternoon and to my surprise they wanted to charge for another day which is no problem at all because I...

Me and my friends really enjoyed our stay there. The staff were very helpful and catered to our every request such as late check out etc. We could not stop marvelling at how much we got for the price we paid. Breakfast was fantastic, I recommend that you get cooked breakfast along with the buffet, it's worth the extra £5....

We were looking for somewhere nice to eat on our visit to north wales and were pleasantly surprised to find the Meadowsweet hotel which had a fantastic restaurant. The restaurant had a nice feel and charm about it and the food and service was amazing. If you are in the area this little hidden gem is worth a try.

Comfortable room and very helpful staff. Hotel located in town and an easy walk to take in the city. Friendly people who were able to help us locate ancestor's homes in the nearby area. Food at dinner and breakfast was delicious and promptly served by attentive wait staff.
