Location is excellent, assuming that one wants to be in an area full of parks, plenty of outdoor pleasure and next to beautiful view of Thames. Access to public transport is marginally good - a 20 min walk to the Tube station of Richmond. Accommodation is of really good quality, rooms are beautiful. Bar and restaurant are very good!

Hotel's Favourite
I was looking for a spa hotel mini-break for an anniversary celebration (last minute due to personal schedules). Everything was so booked up, over-priced (in my opinion), or not suitable. I then found a too-good-to-be-true offer on the Richmond Habour Hotel Spa website (whilst searching all their Harbour Hotel sites) which was worth taking a risk for. I stupidly hadn't realised that it was the hotel that had a fire/still under refurb, or that I had booked it for colleagues in the past under the old name! The spa/gym facilities were limited due to refurb, and there was a fair bit of building still to be done, but it didn't matter over-all. We had the best time! Charmaine provided us with a magical treatment each, as it was quiet we had the outdoor hot-tub to ourselves (win), borrowed the hotel bikes to explore the park, were in lovely a newly refurb room with complimentary gin, enjoyed delicious cocktails and food in the restaurant, and were treated exceptionally well my the Manager (will have to add his name), and Restaurant/Bar staff. My biggest annoyance is bad customer service, and rude/grumpy people (especially when you book an 'offer'), which I find pretty common in hotels these days! So massive thumbs-up that we left feeling so well taken care of. We'd defo return to the Richmond (and try other) Harbour hotels in future!

This hotel is really excellent and would be a good base for a stay in London if travelling from abroad (Richmond is by the river, has great shops, the Great Park for walks and seeing deer and is a short train ride into central London). The food is good and there is a lovely bar (with cocktails). We wanted a base to meet some friends half way between our respective homes - seven of us including 3 teen/early 20 year olds. This is why we chose a hotel with a spa and pool - something to do when the weather is grim in January. I am a travel addict (who cannot travel at the moment for obvious reasons) and like staying in interesting places that do not feel like chain hotels - this was that sort of place. I loved the colourful decor in the communal areas and (very) comfy bedrooms and the spa area was lovely. But the customer service made the place stand out. When we arrived we were told that the pool and hot tub were not available due to a teething problem with the new system (remedied by this morning) in the brand new spa. I was very disappointed given that this was the reason for chosing the hotel and was so looking forward to using them. BUT, it was handled in a way that was beyond satisfaction in an incredibly polite, friendly and calm way by Bryony at reception and the duty (?) manager. We were left feeling very happy by this outstanding customer service. Things happen, things go wrong - its the way that it is dealt with that matters. As I say, outstanding. Oh and Inese in the restaurant was so friendly and efficient - she even untangled my knecklace chain for me (having watched me trying to do it for ages unsuccesfully - I think my cosmopolitan cocktail was a hindrance). So seven people had a really great stay, two tired Mums had a rest and have come away feel happy and refreshed. I will definitely go back - in fact, can't wait.

Dear Guest, I'd like to take a moment to thank you for leaving your much valued feedback and wonderful review. I am delighted that you enjoyed our unrivalled location by Richmond Park - our 'country retreat' within the city, along with our unique decor and cocktail bar! Your kind words have been shared with our team, it's lovely to hear that Bryony, Inese and the Management team looked after you so well. We pride ourselves on our home away from home atmosphere for both our team members and guests! We certainly look forward to welcoming you back to us for another relaxing hopefully in the not so distant future here at Richmond Harbour Hotel. Warmest Regards, Rachael Russell Rooms Division Manager

Most impressed with new spa and swimming pool, which opened just before xmas. Hotel well located, close to Richmond Park, Richmond town centre and River Thames. Staff very efficient, courteous and good-humoured despite being stretched by Covid. Comfy spacious room, quiet.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for our wedding anniversary. We were warmly welcomed by Moreno at reception which was a great start and our room large, modern and spotless. The complimentary gin and Sherry were a nice touch. We used the recently opened spa which was really nice and clean and modern. The bar area was great and a good selection of drinks and the breakfast was really quality too. All staff we met were really courteous and friendly. A great experience overall and we will return for sure!
