Not great luxury and a little bit like a guest house however you can't argue with the welcome and the cleanliness. As a stop over for a night out in Richmond it was perfect and the breakfast was really good again served with a smile. Some rooms are bigger than others and granted some furniture a little dated but this...

Had a lovely meal here last week after visiting friends nearby popped in on off chance great meals, lovely friendly service and value for money. Would travel back from Edinburgh to eat here again. Also had a show round the rooms and the ones we saw were very nice.

Very helpful staff answered all my questions when I phoned a couple of times with queries about amenities and distance from station etc. Very clean, efficiently run hotel. Everything we needed in our room. We were able to borrow an iron and board when requested. The continental breakfast was excellent, plenty of fresh melon, strawberries etc, yogurts, lovely ham- not...

I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occassion's. I have not yet found a fault it with it, hence me going back and back. Yes the rooms are small, its not a purpose built hotel. so dont expect Travel lodge size rooms. They are doing a refurb. I see new carpets and beds are being put in place. The...

Not too bad of a location but typical tiny room in London. The lady that operates the "hotel" is nice and also includes a simple breakfast. But... I would consider this a very budget hotel that needs much upgrading. The worn out carpets, squeaky floors, mold in the shower, broken furniture and most importantly old worn out, stained, lumpy beds...

Reading some of the reviews on this site not sure I stayed at the same hotel!! The location of the hotel was perfect - we went to Kew for an evening concert and with the bus stop right outside the door could not have been better. The rooms was clean - I know it was not very big but we...

I think the over riding description for my room would be tired. It was clean, the bed was comfortable enough, but everything was worn out, or had been replaced on a budget. Given it was "only" £70 for a night in Richmond, it's pretty hard to grumble. The location is spot on, just a minute from the Thames, and shops...

The rooms are small, but spotlessly clean. The building is old (it is Richmond upon thames!!) so you do hear people coming and going. The front faces a road and it is a bit noisy at the start and end of the working day especially with the window open (and since there is no air conditioning, theywill need to be...

Don't go near this dump. Nice area, but hotel is a shambles, no hot water, spiders in my uncomfortable bed, rubbish breakfast, I'd rather sleep in a bin. Hopefully this helps someone to avoid, should be shut in my opinion. Shame, as Richmond as plenty to offer.

Fabulous position, close to everything and next to all eateries and shops. The rooms are very worn out, date back to the '70s. The tub faucets were so old and rusty the came off when you turned them.... Cleanliness is not exactly their priority and the bed duvet wasn't exactly fresh out of the laundry's. The breakfast was just ok-ish....
