Amazing view on the Lake, the beds were pretty good but the room would need to be refreshed. The door opened by itself a few times with the wind as it was hard to correctly close it, and there is no lock on the door to be sure it was well closed. The carpet looked a bit old with many...

We booked a night in the hostel, this was.just a stop off place for us. The hostel was unpleasant and not very clean and the toilet and shower blocks our outside. We had some food in the bar area in the main hotel which was nice, however some of the people in there bar area where very intimating. We left at...

This hotel has the best lake view one could ask for. Our room had a balcony overlooking the lake, but it was in need of upgrading. The room was large and lovely, but it had the worst bed I have ever been in. The mattress was so soft that I requested it to be changed- nothing available. Finally, I got...

A group of us went here for lunch on 2 January 2017 we enjoyed a fabulous lunch with great wines and beers available to match the food on the menu. It was probably a little slow between courses for my liking, but not a big deal. We had great fish and chips, the pate was awesome as were the dumplings...

We booked a family room which was very spacious (2 levels), maybe not the newest room, but fair enough given the price they charged. Ideal for a family. The view at the lake is simply amazing. We were also very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service in the restaurant.

Worst service ever, rude staff, disorganized service and 3 of us having to wait half an hour for our meals while the other 5 in our group got their food first because the waitress was rude and hopeless at doing her job. Why service another table while halfway through servicing another table??? Especially if the other table came in 20...

The food we had to order from the bar as the restaurant closed at 9 but they still let us eat in the restaurant area. Service was ok not very good but overall we...

It's definitely the worst hostel I've been to after 3 months in New Zealand. It's feels more like a staff accommodation for the hotel than a hostel. The "kitchen & living room" was full of staff's belongings and we didn't feel welcome. The bedroom (2 bunk bed) is very small, barely enough room to fit 4 backpackers bags. The bed...
