We stayed at the end of August for a week. Tastefully renovated accommodation but in a very flat remote area. If your idea of Italy is rolling Tuscan hills then this is not for you. As far as the eye can see flat agricultural landscape. An hour and a half from Venice, conveniently situated. Unfortunately it is also at least... More

Tony and Karen greeted us on arrival and showed us around their beautiful property. As hosts they could not have been more helpful with Tony offering advice on plces to visit while serving breakfast. His directions are spot on, ignore the sat nav, these directions are so user freindly anyone can follow them. Whilst having breakfast Karen had cleaned our... More

We stayed here in August 2014, casa di Antonio is a beautiful converted farmhouse in the middle of nowhere, that is actually in the middle of everywhere! The place is immaculately clean throughout, Karen and Tony are the perfect hosts, and obviously enjoy what they do and are very good at it too. We went everywhere on this trip, I... More

This was our 4th stay with Tony and Karen, and it was every bit as good as the other three. The welcome was as warm as ever, the accommodation as spotless, the breakfasts just as excellent. We've visited the places around - Ferrara, Bologna, Verona, Venice, Ravenna, Padova, Vicenza - several times now, but they don't pall: indeed, knowing your... More

Not quite sure what to write other than to echo everybody else’s positive comments. We had always wanted to visit Italy so a timely email via my school account led to an ideal way to dip our toes. Fortuitously it also coincided with our silver wedding anniversary and what a grand time we had. It is not often that we... More

Beautiful house, terrific location, fantastic hosts. Wonderful base to explore the area from, so much to see and do. The bedrooms and bathrooms are immaculately clean and both Karen and Tony work tirelessly to maintain these excellent standards. Breakfast is a wonderful start to the day and like the hosts and location is fabulously overwhelming. Hoping we return very soon.

OK, this review is long overdue, but I cannot face Karen & Tony for a 3rd time without having done this place justice. The location is perfect for exploring this area of Italy. Whether it is the beach, the lakes, Verona, Venice or even the lovely town of Ferrara, all are within easy reach. The accommodation itself is outstanding -... More

As previous reviews, excellent knowledgeable hosts, beautiful area. Lovely breakfasts and Karen makes a wonderful 4 course meal twice a week. Fabulous wines available to purchase, so you can sit under the barn and chill with other guests, which was really nice. You do need a car to get about, but you can use Karen and Tony's bikes to ride... More
