I visited Palac Lochow in the context of a seminar organised at the end of August. The place itself is really nice, located outside a small town, features nice gardens and a small lake. However when it comes to staying and organising events I would never consider it again for the following reason: 1) They hardly speak any English 2)...

We spent three nights here while we were guests at a wedding. It is set just outside a smallish town (you can walk to shops in about 20 minutes) in extensive grounds, and there are moderately interesting walks you can take nearby. Our room was quite basic but very quiet, and staff were efficient and helpful. The restaurant does not...

It is really an old palace transformed into an hotel with all the surroundings of a palace: a lake, huge garden, many small buildings. Very quiet. At reservation we didn't choose the rooms, big mistake. The room we got was very simply, lacking furniture, iron beds. I saw another room where all the beds had iron decorations all around, looking...

We went there for a New Years stay, and although the "real" package differed from the one we purchased, the hotel made sure that we are still satisfied. There are three buildings with rooms in the palace, so if you want to stay at the palace itself, you should make sure that that's where you're booking. We rented a room...

Went there for a conference and it was very good. The rooms are comfortable and roomy. Room service is prompt and food is good. The palace is located in nice area, everything was green and butifull (Summer!). The river is also fantastic. What I do not like about all places like this hotel is the location. Lochow Palce is far...

“Check the specific room you get.”

“If you want the "aristocratic" experience ask for a room in the palace building, the other buildings are also very nice, but not as much as the palace. If you're going for a weekend ask if there is a wedding booked at the same time and ask for a room away from the festivities (I gather that weddings and conferences is their core bussiness). Wheelchair and baby strollers make sense only if you're choosing a bottom floor room, there are no lifts anywhere. The staff is very helpful, so you can ask them for advice as well. Internet quality is very good, both "cable" and on wi-fi.”
