We stayed here for four nights and each was a delight. The room was styled in a classic french style and was fabulous. It overlook the tree lined drive and paddock. It is a gorgeus setting. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice and fresh fruit salad and home made yoghurt which was the best I have tasted. The... More

The overnight stay in these premises was unique. The Chateau is like a film set, standing with its outhouses in no less than 42 acres of French countryside. Its splendid isolation necessitated telephoning the owners so that they could collect us from the nearby village, despite having been given directions. It is truly in the middle of nowhere, but pleasingly... More

My husband and I never sleep in but we did here! The bed was so comfortable! This bed and breakfast location is on country acreage and is just lovely. The hostess, a horsewoman, was very kind and accommodating. We had gotten lost and run out of gas and she waited for our arrival. Our breakfast was waiting for us when... More

This place is a real find. And in fairness, really hard to find also. We stayed there for two nights in August and thought it was lovely. We got really lost on our initial journey to the chateau, which I think was the combined fault of very flaky English on the directions and our missing a turning quite early on... More

The bedroom was timeless, large and elegant, the breakfasts healthy and good, the hosts charming, kind and helpful, the swimming pool delightfully peaceful, the views beautiful. A perfect retreat from the world with our daughters for 4 nights in July, driving out to explore Poitiers and see the magnificent fields of sunflowers, and then returning to have an evening picnic... This review is long overdue. My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night during the winter. The chateau was actually closed (very cold in the winter with no heat!) but i told them as long as there is a fireplace I would love to stay. And they were very gracious. Our bedroom was HUGE and had a massive fireplace.... More

If you are looking for a hotel with character in a beautiful peaceful setting then this is the place for you. It is not close to any major towns and as it has no restaurant you need to drive out for dinner, but the place has genuine character and charm with large rooms and the hosts are very friendly and... Arriving at the Chateau, framed at the end of a tree lined avenue, sends you back in time to a place where charm and elegance mattered. Our hostess, Catherine welcomed us with cold beer, which we drank sitting under the trees in the garden, surrounded by the sunflower field and the odd clucking hen. Our room was an experience by... Boiscousier has a lovely faded grandeur about it, but we were a little disappointed by our stay. This might have been because this was at the end of a fantastic French holiday during which we had stayed in quite a few of the B&Bs listed in the top 25 B&Bs in France on Trip Advisor (possibly our expectations were too... A fabulous 3 days in remote rural France; gorgeous surroundings, so peaceful amongst the sunflowers. Superb breakfast as well! Just be aware that the nearest restaurants are 10 minutes drive away, although the hosts will prepare an evening meal on request.
