I was made most welcome and the owner was most helpful throughout the stay. I booked a superior room which was large, the bed was great and the bedding spotless as was the ensuite bathroom and the bedroom. My friends stayed in standard rooms which were rather small so it is well worth paying the little bit extra for the...

I have travelled a lot and this hotel is one of my favourites ever! We were warmly welcomed by Peter and Judith, and we were able to relax in our lovely rooms with TV, wifi, large bathroom and easy-to-use climate control (radiators!) I know the weather was not up to them, but everything else which made our stay that much...

My sister and I needed a break and, following excellent reviews, stayed one night. Our twin en-suite room was indeed very clean and the bedding and towels spotless but one of the beds was very uncomfortable and noisy. The room rate should have included a light breakfast as we didn't want a large meal especially as early as 8-9AM and...

Lovely place to stay. Room was clean and tidy with a nice size bathroom. Bed comfy and plenty of tea and coffee. I asked for off road parking as I explained that were on a trike motorcycle and did not want to park it on the street. Fair play they kept a space for us. Nothing was too much trouble....

We stayed at Ashmount for a couple of nights and used it as a base to travel around North Wales. It was quite a spacious Bangalow, and as its located away from the centre, it was quiet as well. Ideal for Rhos on Sea

Due to the really good reviews we booked this place for one night but we were so disappointed. Obviously a very large misunderstanding as the owners do not live at the B&B so we spent ages hanging around in the carpark as front door was locked even though the owner was inside, this just spoilt it from the start. OK...

The bungalow was spacious and the bed was comfortable. It was ideal for self catering and Rhos on Sea is a lovely peaceful place. We visited 3 pubs while we were there. The Boat House, The Cayley Arms and The Rhos Fynach. The Rhos Fynach had a quiz on and had a great atmosphere. The Boat House was a typical...

We stayed in The Ashmount Hotel when our son was playing an away game at the county ground. The hotel was very clean and tidy with lovely owners. The only problem we had was that you had to get up to early for breakfast. That aside the breakfast was cooked fresh and was substantial. The room we had was in...

The Ashmount isn't a 5-Star hotel and doesn't pretend to be. However, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome on my arrival that a number of posher establishments could learn from. My room was small but equipped with everything I could need for my stay, including an armchair, something that's rare to find in your typical budget hotel....
