From the moment we arrived Tony and Marie could not do enough for us. We had 2 rooms at the front with a sea view and both were lovely. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Rhos on Sea is lovely and we enjoyed walking on the front. It's close to Snowdonia and Anglesey with fantastic...

The Guest House is well located, close to the centre of Rhos-on-Sea. My en suite single room wasn't luxurious but it was clean and comfortable. The free wif-fi wasn't very reliable but everything else worked. The breakfast was good, but avoid the veggie sausages and bacon - they were hard as a rock (probably microwaved despite being unsuitable for such...

On arrival we had to change room as a strange smell from the original room emanated from goodness knows what. But our room at the front was good, the radiator soon made the room warm and all facilities were in working order. Coffee and tea facilities if you needed them, and the bed was reasonably comfy, the room pleasantly furnished....

Very basic, tired accommodation. Decor very dated and worn. Shower was awful, tatty and difficult to get any hot water out of. Booked due to good reviews so very disappointed. Also charged £55 a night which is price of a sea view room but we were on the back with view of carpark. Made our own beds and cleaned our...

The hotel was re painted this year. Guest was charged winter rates NOT for a sea-view room. Maids were on duty but would not enter a room if the guest was still asleep. Continental breakfast was served each day as promised - Guest was informed that there would be no coked breakfast.

We stayed here, on been shown our 4* accommodation room we felt deflated and disappointed, on looking at the other rooms when they were been cleaned these seemed nice. Our room was terrible we got charged the same rate as all the other rooms on reading the tarrif (with no sea view) this room can not be advertised as 4*...

As in previous reviews: - traditionally furnished guest house but comfortable and clean. Breakfast adequate. Check-in times were stated online as 10a.m - noon; & 4pm onwds. My train was due at 11.53am. but I was advised (in no uncertain terms!) that I would not even be able to drop off my case if didn't make it to guest house...

I stayed for 3 nights while I was working in Colwyn Bay. The whole house was spotlessly clean, rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The owners Tony and Maria are very friendly, extremely helpful and welcoming. Will definitely go back.

We arrived on foot from a bus stop in a tempest, and were shown into a warm and comfortable room with everything we might need or desire, and two days later were sorry to be leaving. The building is traditionally solid and comfortable, and its position ideal. I'm not sure what 'quaint' means in the questionnaire below, so have said...

Thank you for your kind and positive response. So pleased that you felt 'at home' - it was a pleasure to serve you AND we were so sorry that you had to walk through such miserable weather. Had we known that we would have gladly picked you up.

Well run hotel lovely location and hotel . This guest house in october was busy but quiet and well equipped. The only downside is it does need updating. A nice place for a break and accessing the north wales area.

Thank you for your review. We, also, are quite surprised at how busy October weekends are this year. We have not had time to do the minor refurbishing required after a busy summer season.
