Have just stayed for 5 nights in the Calvados room. Peter & Su are brilliant hosts, very welcoming. We had a wonderful stay. We stayed in the Calvados room, a soft comfortable double bed, en suite shower and toilet, built in wardrobe with hangers, dressing table with mirror and hairdryer, small table and 2 armchairs. Shower was very good, plenty...

This is a very comfortable B&B with free wifi, a guest lounge etc in a pleasant old farm house near Falaise. What sets it apart is the quality of the evening meal. As it is an easy trip to and from the ferry at Ouistreham, we stayed there once on our way out to the Dordogne and again on the...

A fantastic last night in France. Ideal location for travelling up from further south on our way to ferry at Cherbourg. Also enabled us to visit Bayeaux. Lovely rustic farmhouse. we stayed in Calvados, large double room, with armchairs enabling us to sit and read, although a guest lounge with tea and coffee making facilities and mini bar also on...

We arrived for our overnight stop near Falaise so we could visit Bill the Conqueror's castle the next day. There was a warm welcome by the owner in this lovely rustic old farmhouse, the room was spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable and what makes it better is in the lounge is free tea/coffee/hot chocolate and better still...

- Family home atmosphere - It is a special place for kids. Our boys enjoyed jumping on a trampoline, playing with rabbits and hens. My youngest keeps asking me to come back and play with guinea pigs again. The are adorable! The garden is big and safe. Good choice of kids DVDs and lots of information about local points of...

This was our second trip here and yet another fantastic trip. Remembered from 2010, Su and Pete made us feel very welcome again. The rustic French farmhouse feel was perfect for our imaginations and we had long conversations about French history! We particularly enjoyed Pete's evening meals and hope to stay here ago soon.

We stayed at La Vielle Ferme for one night on our way down to Ile d'Oleron. It was easy to find and we were greeted with a warm welcome. We had a lovely, large family room. Our boys went straight out to bounce on the trampoline, welcome exercise after sitting in the car. We opted for the cold meal for...

Peter and Su were amazing hosts, in a beautiful location. We planned on staying 1 night which turned into 2, because of the atmosphere and superb food. It is a truly serene setting, not far from Falaise. The first night, my family (5) asked for the dinner to save time...and received 5-star, 4-course meal better than any we've experienced in...

It is a nice place to stay and the owners are very friendly. It is clean. The only drawback we had is following the detailed directions which could be shortened. It is located roughly 15km outside of town. I would suggest they shorten their explanation of directions. It is within easy reach of many places to visit and the roads...

we stayed for just one night on a journey from Cherbourg to the south of France. We were made feel very welcome by Peter and Su and the food and accommodation were first class. In fact we reckon the evening meal was the best we had in France this trip. Keep up the good work and best wishes for the...
