We enjoyed a brief overnight stay with friends at La Vieille Ferme in June 2014. We'd driven that day from Josselin and chosen to stay near Falaise as a springboard to exploring La Route du Cidre en route to Caen the following day. We happily endorse the very positive comments made by other Tripadvisor reviewers about this very friendly B&B.

Su and Peter made us very welcome. Bed very comfortable and delicious food. Would definitely return - about 45 mins from Caen so made a good stop off point. Lots of interesting things to do in the area. Good garden area to sit and relax. - many thanks pauline

We stayed here as a stop off from Cherbourg ferry terminal before a long drive to the south of France. The owners Peter & Su are lovely people and have a very nice clean B&B with big gardens including a nice patio area. Lots of animals for the children to see also! It is well worth paying for the 3...

I don't do many TA reviews... more of a Qype guy. Have to say the food really made this stay. I reckon the price for the stay was fair enough and the rooms are nice. Basically Peter has experience as a chef in the big city and it shows in his cooking. Really great value for the three course meal...

Lovely quiet friendly b and b with food better than any of the restaurants in Falaise. Peter and Sue run a good place to stay for a holiday in this area. Clean and comfortable with a guest sitting room with tea and coffee making facilities and a television.

We stayed there for a night on our travel down across France and we liked it so much that we made a detour on our way back to stay here again. What a find!. Peter & Su were most welcoming and their place is a wonderful mix of home comfort, peace and quiet whilst providing the amenities of a charming...

We've stayed one week in this amazing place. We had a wonderful time in La Vieille Ferme in a beautiful region of Normandy. The owners of the B&B, Peter and Su, are very kind and warm people who make sure you're having a good time. We've loved the concept "Table d'hôte" with them, and the food is amazingly delicious. We've...

We stayed for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect location for us to explore the area and then to look forward to the excellent home cooked food in the evening. The room was clean and comfortable and the hosts, Su and Peter were friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this b&b to all travellers...

We stayed for one night on a road trip, what a lovely place, the host Peter in this case was most welcoming, Su was off partying. We arrived mid afternoon and just relaxed out in the garden, peaceful and calm. We had booked in for the set dinner and I would definitely recommend it, Peter sat and had dinner with...

I arrived late in the dark after hold-ups at the Cean/Ouistream ferry port, but eventually found it after help from the owners. It is a great place to stay, the bedroom was comfortable and very well provided with excellent sheets and towels. The breakfast on the following morning was far better than normal in France. I hope that I can...
