We stayed in the pod for 3 nights and loved every minute! From cooking our steaks on the open firepit to relaxing in the local pub with a beer, we made wonderful memories! The pod is surprisingly spacious, warm and very comfortable. It's situated in a beautiful garden, with a stream running along the bottom of it. All we could... More

I visited here after receiving a voucher for my birthday. It was perfect for a relaxing weekend away. It's situated in a peaceful village and with a short walk you can be at the local shop or pub. We used the local butcher (which we received a voucher for staying at westwood) and cooked our dinner on the firepit. We... More

The hubs and I bought an Itison for this glamping adventure. We had no idea what to expect...it was a whimsical joy!!! Please note that the SatNav will not get you far enough, keep heading down the road just a bit further where you will see a sign both for Westwood and the nearby stone circle hike. The hubs and... This B&B is in a lovely area of Scotland. We stayed in the room upstairs. This had its own sitting area which was great. A deposit was required which was a bit of a hassle from overseas - but I can understand why one is wanted. I found the bed a bit small - but I am used to a... More

This was my first glamping experience and it will not be my last. The Pod was located in a beautifully landscaped garden with lots of near by walks. It was lovely and private with it's own outside shower if you dared and fire pit for cooking. Inside was all mod cons; Including speedy wifi, under floor heating, microwave and a... More

I was looking for a B&B for 2 nights but nearly everywhere was booked up. Westwood came back to me to say the only thing they had available was their Glamping Armadilla (Pod) I was desperate and so I booked the Pod for 2 nights and was not expecting to enjoy the stay. But I would stay there anytime now,... More

We booked the armadilla last minute for a birthday weekend. The cabin takes a little getting used to but it has everything you need, including excellent under-floor heating. Unfortunately the weather didn't let us use the fire pit but we'd like to go back to try it out. Katrina was a lovely host and gave us plenty of useful info... More

My sister & I shared the twin toom for 3 nights while visiting family nearby. We received the warmest welcome from Katrina - nothing was too much trouble. The room itself was spotless. Lovely comfy bed & glorious views. Breakfast every morning was fresh & cooked to perfection. Katrina had been notified beforehand of my gluten & lactose intolerance &... More

We didn't stay in the B&B but in the Armadillo pod in the beautiful spacious garden. This was a fabulous experience and even though it was September we ate outside and used the outdoor shower (there is a hot one inside the pod!!!). Katrina provided cakes for our arrival and a hearty continental breakfast delivered to our door. The only... More

I have stayed here now on a number of occasions whilst on business in the area, the warm welcome from Katrina really makes it feel like a home from home. The home cooked breakfast every morning is something to look forward to and there is always a plate of home baking too. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have all... More
