Spent one night at this regal property. It is a beautiful concept that is pulled off well. While the surrounding land is interesting a mix of farm land and industrial, the lodging and restaurant are an oasis. Beautifully kept and inspiring. There is little not to like about the lodging and even less not to like about the restaurant. Everything is Superb. We were the only guests in the villa and it felt like our own property. The house / villa is kept consistent with the period around the turn of the 20th Century. The premise is beautifully maintained. We had 2 x rooms. The adults had the suite and our grown kids had a nice room on the third floor across a very long hallway. Beds were super comfortable. One of the better nights sleep I have had and exactly what you would want on a vacation. Bathrooms were tastefully redecorated, and bedrooms were excellently redecorated keeping old touches but with modern comforts. The grounds offers plenty of space to unwind and have a nice glass of wine and just take in the ambiance. Wifi was nice and strong Breakfast - simple but executed well and the coffee is excellent. Parking. Plenty of free parking Restaurant. Try the on-sight restaurant. If you will not be disappointed Distance to Florence. It is about 30 minutes to downtown Florence. NOTE: The staff speak no English and us no Italian. However, do not let this deter you if you do not speak Italian, you can manage with smiles and hand signals (and google translate)…
