as other reviewers have noted there are a number of positives about this establishment - it's well positioned for access to Bournemouth and is good value for money but having stayed in the ground floor room which faces the main road there is a problem with damp, both in terms of the smell & walls/carpets. The only cleaver thing was...

Popped down to Barton on sea to spend my Birthday day looking for fossils, Elizabeth was lovely, welcoming and cooks a really nice English fry-up. Having three Wheatabix and a big fry-up followed by jam on toast - I had to fall asleep in the sunshine on the beach. Thank you Elizabeth, it was like being at my mums house...

Having read the glowing comments from other travellers, we were disappointed with our stay because the room we stayed in, no.7, had a damp carpet and smelt very musty. By the end of the evening the bathroom smelt of cooking. Elizabeth was certainly very welcoming and the breakfast kept us going for the day. If you decide to try this...

Really enjoyed our stay, very comfortable rooms (slept really well) with a lovely ensuite. The owners were a lovely couple who were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. They made us feel right at home and were a fountain of knowledge on the local area. Breakfast was yummy to! Will definitely be staying here agai

Eureka, however, is owned by a lovely couple who were very chatty and more than happy to accommodate our needs (I forgot...

We came on spec and what a find! A superb little bed and breakfast. Staying here for 2 nights as we write this review and to be honest, we don't want to leave. The owner was so welcoming, room is lush with lots of home from home touches. Very quiet, close to town, beach and lovely eateries and pubs, all...

This is a lovely B&B, we stayed for two nights, very comfortable, clean and a good choice of breakfasts. The owners were very friendly and helpful, they were happy to recommend days out and directions. Prices very reasonable too!
