We were driving from Livorno to Cuor di Lupo after getting off the ferry from Corsica and we knew we would probably not make it before dark, which we didn't. Fortunately we had directions I had printed from Google or I doubt that we would have ever found it, so my advice is to arrive before dark. Driving the dirt... More

Cuor di Lupo is an old Tuscan stone farmhouse situated in the midst of vinyards and woods. It is quiet there and you feel immedeatly de-stressed. But you have to pay a price for this remoteness - the road leading there, once you have left the main road, is hardly adapted for a normal car. Basically you would need a... More

I read the reviews about Cuor di Lupo when I had already booked there for the first part of my holidays, in September, and today I registered here to give my personal opinion, which is very positive;by reading reviews on TA and looking at the website, (well done and updated) i had already made a personal impression on Cuor di... We spent one week in the agriturismo cuor di lupo in July 2010. Before to book the room we asked for the possibility to have a room with all the comfort for a baby and as an agriturismo we also asked the possibility to bring with us our two cats. We arrived in the agriturismo at 2 pm, so in... More

The structure is good, but the people changed. Indead, the "toscany" food is now made from eastern european people, and it tastes awful. Avoid eating there, it has nothing to do with tuscany food. I am italian and I know what I say.

We have just returned from a touring holiday in Tuscany having spent 4 days at The Cuor Di Lupo B & B. We arrived by way of a 3 kilometre country road which we would describe as a dirt track. All ready to say we could not stay as it was too inaccessible to tour from we allowed ourselves to... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to the hills and the sea, in the heart of Tuscany, in the place where time seems to stand still, the colors are pure, intense fragrances, flavors are those of the past and people have still want to smile. Deep in the heart of Maremma lies a 19th century stone farm, restructured according to Tuscany original architecture and materials; here you can spend unforgettable holidays, dipped into the wild nature either sour or sweet, surrounded by smooth hills, always stroked by the sea breeze. Our thoughts go to the sea, while taking a rest by the natural bathing pool made of local rocks and sand, just like a small wild sea inbetween the ancient cork trees and the Mediterranean woodland. The rooms are all different between them, lead back to the ancient rural traditionsMaremma and make us live now lost atmosphere in which we find ourselvesand rhythms of old times, slow and relaxing as those of nature, wherethe only sounds are the languages of animals... or the breeze from the sea...Cuor di lupo, the restaurant: tasting only Maremma's products But the Cuor di lupo Farmholiday is not only farm, in fact we can find a vineyard that produces a wine made from Sangiovese and Ciliegiolo Shirah. Then there are olive trees, which offer a much better and genuine gifts of Tuscany, and ours vegetables are biological. They are also big news from this year, thanks to the approval of a regional law that allows the feeding Tuscan farmhouse meals of local products. ... more   less
