Detailed Reviews
We had the most wonderful stay here with Janet and Duncan - they are exemplary in their relaxed attitude and hosting and so happy to share their house with us, so very kind. I cannot emphasise enough how welcome they made us feel; how much they gave to the enjoyment of our holiday and how wonderfully eager they were to share this most beautiful area of Wales with us. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable without the least bit of intrusion. Wonderful and over indulged breakfasts! We will be returning for sure and recommending to all

We stayed only one night at Janet and Duncan's. We booked the red twin room which is lovely and very clean.
Duncan and Janet are welcoming and very helpful when it comes to visit the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. They explained to us all the walking, hikes and sites to explore nearby. There is so much to discover that we whished we would have stayed longer.

Warm welcome with afternoon tea in back garden. Duncan very helpful with maps and information on local attractions. We had the "Yellow Room" which was spacious, light and tastefully decorated. Don't like carpet in bathrooms but that's a personal taste. Ideal quiet position to explore this area of Pembrokeshire coastline. Off street parking.

We had an excellent stay at Tabour House, extending our weeks stay in the area by an extra few days. Right from the outset we were made to feel really welcome by Janet and Duncan. We stayed in the Blue room up in the attic, which is very nicely decorated. A very plesant en-suite, which whilst it does not have a shower, the bath and handheld shower unit works out fine. The room has colour TV and coffee/Tea making facilities, picking up the free wifi is a bit of a challenge at the top of the house. The breakfast is excellent served up in a pleasant dining room, a very good cooked breakfast, but we very much enjoyed the granola, yoghurt and fresh fruit alternative! The local area is full of good walks, it's very easy to join the coastal path, to go around Dinas head, and visit some of the beaches such as Aberbach, Pwllgwaelod, Cwm-yr-Eglwys and Aberfforest. A first class B&B in a perfect location - Highly Recommend!!

We stayed with Janet and Duncan for five nights. They are a very friendly couple who make you feel very welcome. Janet serves a very good cooked breakfast but we very much took a liking to her granola, yoghurt and fresh fruit alternative! Duncan is a font of information re walks, bus timetables and the best places to eat. One of our best days was when we left the car untouched all day and walked anticlockwise round Dinas Island (head) and on to Lower Fishguard catching the bus back. Glorious scenery. We then walked to the Old Sailors pub in the evening. Perfect.
We stayed in the attic room. I thought the lack of a proper shower would be an issue but after all the walking a soak in the bath was a wonderful reward!
We wish this lovely couple every success in this new venture.

A quiet spot just off the main road between Fishguard & Newport. We stayed in the very comfortable yellow bedroom for 2 nights. Our host Duncan is a mine of useful information and Janet made us perfect breakfasts from an extensive menu - a delightful couple. One evening we had an excellent meal at the neaby Freemasons Arms - very varied menu at a good price. Lovely coastal walks can be taken directly from the house. There's a fabulous golf course just 10 minutes away at Newport Sands - it's well exposed to the wind with sensational views from nearly every hole.

The room is very well fitted out, including the bathroom. The breakfast was delicious. The house is easy to find using GPS and Janet provided great local information and a useful map of local restaurants. Check in and check out were quick and easy. I had accidentally booked for two people instead of one, and Janet contacted Booking.com and fixed the rate so I was not overcharged - I had not even noticed! A really good stay.
The Bnb is a very quick drive to Newport and there are heaps of walks around the Pembrokeshire coastline that you can do close by.
I wasn't at the Bnb during the days during my two night stay, but I was very comfortable there and it was extremely quiet overnight.

Tabor House is a fantastic B & B. Duncan gave us some helpful pointers upon arrival about things to do. Janet does a superb breakfast with lots of wonderful options. A fellow guest who had the fruit option felt compelled to take a picture of it. I couldn't blame them. It was a breakfast masterpiece that would produce spontaneous applause were it to be presented in a Parisian bistro. You can get kedgeree too - lovely to see this Victorian fave on the breakfast menu, or a big croissant filled with cheese and bacon. Of course the usual full brekkie is a fine option too. The room? Lovely. I slept like a log.

Stayed here with my partner for a Wedding in Newport.
Hosts were really friendly and helped us plan our stay and transport.
Good quality breakfast, with plenty of choice.
Hosts provided a map of the local area with popular walks around Dinas Head.
Would definitely stay again.
