Stayed here for a couple of nights, the hotel was in a very nice area, found the staff very helpfull and friendly, very pleasant and comfy room with a good bathroom, the only problem with the room was the noise from the bar downstairs although this was not a big problem, had a meal from the bar which was very...

We decided to have a night away and booked in at the Glyn Valley. We were met at arrival by Marcus, who gave us a warm welcome. Our room was clean and bright, with a 3/4 sized double and a single bed. We went down for dinner and were presently surprised by the Swiss addition to menu. The food was...

Decided to visit here to celebrate an anniversary and regretted it. Having perused the menu I ordered grilled trout in garlic butter with a side of chips. I was served a trout which had been microwaved with a half inch FROZEN slice of garlic and herb butter! Yuck! This was closely followed by a side of new potatoes and when...

I can assure you the trout was not microwaved, it is grilled as stated on the menu, the garlic and herb butter is kept refrigerated and sliced off as needed. This is one of our most popular dishes and we always have good comments about it. We apologized for the chef's error in serving you new potatoes instead of chips...

On our arrival we all thought we had made a terrible decision. However, over the stay we indeed where prove wrong. This is lovely, quaint hotel, accommodation is adequate, however, the staff are really good and helpful. Well kept ales which where great and then the food. It was amazing, tasty and fresh with great portions.

Called for a few drinks and some well earned chips after a fantastic walk down this lovely valley. The drinks were reasonable but a word of warning, the amount of chips you get easily does two. So don't be greedy.

We are staying near by and came here. We had a nice table and the lady served us was very polite. The food was priced ok with a menu to suit all, tasty food. Then had a game of pool and watched the golf on a big screen. there are plenty of seats outside and swings and climbing frames across...

Lovely pub after we stopped in a random place with a grumpy hungry pregnant wife. Good choice of food which came out relatively quickly and was clearly fresh. The free wifi helped us get our bearings as there's no phone signal. A decent pit stop on our tour.

When I booked this room for me and my daughter in a "historic Inn" "full of atmosphere" @ £100/night there was nothing to suggest that the place would be shut all day and night every Tuesday! When IU tried to check in there was a note on the locked hotel door for me personally to phone a mobile number to...
