Stayed here for one night to attend the Eyam Plague Service. Had a few beers in the bar & really enjoyed our stay. Nice place, nice people, good bed & good breakfast ....& ghosts, allegedly. What more could you want?

Basic, clean accommodation for anyone who wants a short stay in the Peak District. Quirky shower and intermittently noisy plumbing. Juice and hot drinks at breakfast plus cereal, toast, individual breakfast items or full breakfast. Wifi was advertised but could only get in bar/ restaurant area. Friendly staff.

We weren't expecting to have great food here as it's a village pub with no local competition. But the food was very good indeed. We enjoyed everything we ate. The best was probably the rib eye steak, cooked rare, to perfection and was tender and juicy. The least liked was the Yorkshire pudding and Cumberland sausage. The sausage was a...

We enjoyed a really lovely mid-week evening meal at The Miner's Arms. We hadn't thought it would be as good as it was but we were treated to a lovely choice of great quality food; in fact we ate far too much! The local beer and the wine was also good value. The pub was within a 15 minute walk...

This pub was local to where we were staying for the week. The locals were friendly and the food was good - generous portions and freshly cooked. My husbands cod was described as having the best batter he'd had for a very long time. Friendly, helpful owners made visits a pleasure.

Eyam is a picturesque, historical village with greta walks and beautiful country. This pub is a bit tired in appearance, almost dull but the food lifts it. The choice is excellent, including great and cvaried specials, and the portions are v generous. There's also a good selection of guest beers. So it's worth a visit and on a summer day/evening...

I did not get as far as making a booking as the man on the 'phone was abrupt and rude and I put the phone down. I was totally polite with my enquiries and he had a tetchy unhelpful manner. I am sure it is a lovely pub and village but this has put us off.

I visit eyam with my family annually and we have eaten here every year for the last 7 years. It is in a lovely spot and very quiet. The meals can be eaten outside, in the bar and in the restaurant. We sat in the restaurant as it was quiet so less chance of our 2 year old disturbing anyone...

Stayed at the Miners arms during the bank holiday weekend and cannot say enough about our wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to help. They provided us with porridge, juice, bread and jam in the room for our breakfast as we were leaving early in the morning for...

I was brought up in Eyam but haven't been back for ages since my parents died. So taking my daughter in law(who'd never been) and son back there it was wonderful to see that the Miners hadn't really changed too much and its still the welcoming friendly pub it always was. We had lunch there and the portions are HUGE...
