I stayed with my family at the hotel “Lo Sciatore” on the occasion of one of the weekends “mushrooms and chestnuts in October 2024. Since our arrival we felt a homely atmosphere thanks to the friendliness of the director, Mrs. Rosalba and all the staff. The excursions in the woods proposed by the structure were impeccably organized. Nordic walking (with the guide Mr. Amerigo) turned out to be a fantastic experience because it allowed us to approach a new sporting activity while admiring the colorful landscape with autumn foliage. The spearhead of the hotel is certainly the kitchen. For breakfast there are several homemade cakes, for lunch or dinner dishes are offered with seasonal ingredients or , on the occasion of the "Rustic Dinner", traditional Molise dishes. A round of applause to the very kind Mariagrazia, room manager, who paid close attention to my mother’s lactose intolerance during all meals. Our stay was made even more pleasant by the entertainment activities organized by the animators Tony and Ciccio, who also took part in the daytime excursions with the guides. Thank you. Just returned from a beautiful Immaculate Conception. There are no negative notes, but only positive ones. Everything was perfect from the room to the staff who were always very professional and attentive, the excursions were very well organized thanks to Ennio who was always very knowledgeable about everything and very helpful. We stayed in this property with my wife and two children, over the weekend just ended (3 days 2 nights from 14 to 16 June 2024). Let me start by saying that we had never tried a holiday in the mountains and we had no idea what this destination and this structure could ever offer us, particularly at this time of year. Now back home (and to tell the truth already the moment we crossed the hotel door towards the exit) we are all feeling that pang of nostalgia and that desire to return as soon as possible. This is because everything at the Lo Sciatore hotel was impeccable. I really can't find any fault and as regards our initial doubts about what the mountain could offer, thanks to everything that the entire staff was able to organize for this intense weekend, I must say that it was one of the most beautiful and different holidays of our lives. Picnic at high altitude with music, games and excellent food, excursions in the woods with expert guides, menus with surprising local flavours, dancing evenings and much more. Finally, the friendliness and helpfulness of everyone (owners and employees) who make you feel at home but with a big family. I can only conclude with a huge thank you and see you soon.

We're still here, what can we say we wouldn't want to leave! A beautiful structure immersed in the splendid Matese mountain, very kind staff always available for every request, even the smallest, the director is a very humble woman, on the front line and alongside the employees, the food is excellent and plentiful and with the typical dishes of the place, the rooms are clean and welcoming. During this nature weekend we were accompanied on excursions organized by the same structure (included in the cost of the stay) to discover the beauty of the mountains, in particular yesterday we took part in a picnic lunch on the high ground with baked pasta and grilled meat, all organized perfection and we concluded with an aperitif at sunset. This morning another excursion with a guide and walking with poles awaits us and then we conclude this splendid stay with lunch. I would like to THANK all the staff and also compliment the entertainment and the mini club. We will definitely come back to visit you in the winter.

We were a weekend "Mushrooms and chestnuts" and we savored the colors and flavors of the place autumn, despite the bad weather. The staff and management were impeccable in the care and attention of us guests in all our needs. The only sore note was the accommodation in the room that being used for two people was instead adapted for us who were 3, resulting narrow and uncomfortable.
