Been twice now and I can't put my finger on what I don't like. It's clean and modern but not very comfortable. Too formal in terms of furniture - feels like you have to sit up properly if that makes sense? Nice additions of sea side kitsch. Menu surprisingly limited - only a handful of choices really and quite pricey....

In the winter we limit the menu so as to keep it fresh not a huge menu with microwave frozen food which may appeal ? I'm thinking that if only there was another pub in the village just for you.

Gorgeous pub right by the beach, lovely fresh decor. We had Sunday lunch which was great. Staff really helpful and friendly. Best to book as it got quite busy. Dog friendly but separate dining area if you didnt have one.

Another lovely evening here. Although it's not an extensive menu - there is always a fish of the day and other specials. The salt and pepper prawns to start were really delicious and the hake dish just perfect and I can never pass on a creme brûlée and was not disappointed! It's always a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and...

Excellent choice on the menu, a separate gluten free menu available. Excellent choice, friendly staff, clean facilities. Would recommend to couples and family and we would visit again. Amazing spot right opposite seafront. Great position on coastal path

A regular with us. Excellent pint and supper recently on a Saturday night. Comfortable and attractive tables and plenty of space for pre-supper drink in large bar area. Fascinating old photographs of the village scrolling on wall mounted TV screen. Staff polite and attentive. Parking available immediately outside pub entrance. Wide selection of seafood and other options. The prawn and...

Had an excellent meal and ended up spending our afternoon there, friendly staff great atmosphere even the dog got a...

Came across the Cricketers whilst exploring the area last September. Stopped for a quick drink and a snack lunch. Food arrived very quickly. Would return when next in the area and try something else from the menu.

We first visited in the summer when we were so taken by the good food and service that we decided to visit for our wedding anniversary the week before Christmas, a decision made easier because of the winter discount! Our room was lovely, very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. There were plenty of places to put our things, a...
