Beautiful grounds with the old hotel attatched to the actual Castle. Staff are friendly and efficient. The hotel is atmospheric with lots of old suits of armour etc. We had the Murray suite, 4 poster bed, big bath to lounge in. Bar and Drawing room great to lounge in with a drink before and after dinner. Dinner was very good....

We had a very nice day at this hotel. Access by car is easy and clear. Staff was very receptive and nice. Our dog even received a little bag with dog treats. The hotel is kept really clean and tidy. Very good experience. Be aware that a £25 fee is charged for bringing a dog.

Stayed here for my husbands birthday. We had been married here 3yrs ago & had wanted to go back. When we got married here it was amazing. It still is. The place looked beautiful with all the Christmas decorations & trees. We stayed in the honeymoon lodge, which is fab. Two bathrooms, huge bed & a lovely lounge with cosy...

My fiancée and I stopped off here on our way deeper into Scotland for afternoon tea...... We also happen to be getting married here next November! :) Anyway, we'd booked an afternoon tea and when it arrived after we'd had a walk around the grounds and castle, it was huge. Everything was delicious and fresh, with more sandwiches and cakes...

Nothing was too much trouble, they really could not do enough for us all. You were made to feel at home. Our day went perfectly and all ran to plan. The...

We stayed here for a weekend get-a-way with evening meal and breakfast. Good quaint little bar area, lovely grounds and garden and in the middle of nowhere.. but that's its appeal. Loved the dated, old castle style room... I do think it could have had a few modern extras though and combined the old with the new. However no complaints;...

We arrived late and we're greeted by John the night porter who was amazing. We were in Scotland for a couple of days and this night set the scene for us, it was great. We were given a guided tour of the castle at 1:30am and the best bar service you could imagine. Our morning was started with a fantastic...
