Bernard and Marie are perfect hosts and after many years the quality of the farm is just what you want after a day on the Somme. HIghly recommended for a relaxing holiday in France. Easy parking and patio area for enjoying the sun.

Bernard and Marie are fabulous hosts. Breakfast was great. The rooms were cozy and warm and comfortable. There is a fully fitted kitchen, so you can make your own meals if you don't want to go out. Their collection of books and information about WWI is top-notch. Bernard and Marie's knowledge of the history and area are amazing. We will...

We spent 4 nights at Butterworth Farm after vowing to return when we last visited in 2012. As a B&B this is just The Best. Marie and Bernard are gracious, welcoming hosts, full of information and advice on the area and the battlefields. Marie's breakfasts are superb and there is always a great selection. The common areas are a great...

When Maria returned from her walk she made us feel very welcome showed my friend and I to our room. As the weather was lovely we went out...

Our hosts Bernard and Marie were wonderful: very friendly, helpful and Bernard is more than willing to share his knowledge of the area and its history, especially as it relates to World War 1. Butterworth Farm is conveniently located near many World War 1 sites and cemeteries. Our room was large and beautifully decorated....

Marie De Lattre made me and my nephew very welcome. Her English is very good and her knowledge of the area is excellent. The room we had was a family room comprising of one double bed and...

The owners, Marie and Bernard, are extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious with private bath, clean and comfortable. A full kitchen is provided, and the breakfast is very good. The location in Pozieres is excellent for anyone wishing to visit the nearby Australian, British, Canadian or South African battlefields and monuments.
