This B&B is on a working farm. I stayed here for a one night stop whilst cycling End to End. Maureen, the owner greeted me with coffee and homemade cake. Bath and walk-in shower in the bathroom, comfy bed, good breakfast.
We stayed here after 5 nights camping and we loved it.
It is a farm, and it is in the middle of nowhere, it is beautifully peaceful and comfortable.
We had the family room which was perfect, clean and lovely soft big towels.
Converted longhouse dating back to early 18thC with timber beams, stone flags, inglenook and period features and the owners have complemented this with collections of old bottles, flagons etc. Very quaint.
