Stayed in the 3 bed cabins in early 2017. Quite tight with not really enough room for the three large backpacks we had. Very quick wifi, although I'm never stoked about having to pay for it when I've paid for a room. It is a pretty cool location, with good facilities (ignoring the shower wait times) and friendly staff. Highly...

Well run operation with well maintained and clean toilets and kitchen facilities. It was the peak season, so very busy - but still not overly crowded and we still enjoyed our privacy. The sandflies in the evening are a pain - so we had to quickly get some repellant and mozzie coils - that seemed to settle them down. They...

Stayed for one night, pleasant enough location which became very busy in the afternoon. Got destroyed by sandflies and mozzies, more than any other campsite in the last 10 days combined. Not enough toilets for amount of people, had to keep coming back to see if free and lines of people waiting to use the dirty toilets and showers. No...

Visited here last month while touring New Zealand for the month, one of my most memorable memories here as Abel Tasman was my favourite place in NZ. Very scenic in the county setting with a beach within walkable distance. Stayed in a shared cabin which was basic but what more do you need? Will love to come back at some...

I stayed in a 6 bed cabin as part of my NZ tour. The rooms were sooo big! Enough room for everyone's luggage, which after a month of different hostels I have seen is a luxury! The bathrooms and toilets are clean, and I had one of my best showers here. It's lovely to walk around and look at the...

This is a huge terrain and you may be settled a few km away from the reception! The receptionist was friendly (not like at their neighbours!) and the price was reasonable. We didn’t use much of their facilities (we had a camper), but they were OK (in the morning there was an invasion of the sanitary installations by a lot...

We stayed here for 2 nights in January 2016. A great site for walking and for the water taxis. We had a problem with our hired motorhome whilst here and the staff could not have been more helpful and we were very grateful to them for all they did. Well worth a visit.

We stayed here for one night in our campervan (Feb 11th). This campsite is ideally located for walking the Abel Tasman Coastal Track as it is only a short walk to the start of this long distance path. Our hook-up plot was amongst mature trees and was very private. It was a delight to see various species of birds at...

We booked the King Studio Cabin at Old Macs for two nights - at either end of our Abel Tasman tramp. The studio exceeded expectations - it had all the facilities as described and was bigger than expected! The spa bath was heavenly and perfect after a five day tramp. The studio was clean and had literally everything we needed....

Nice little spot surrounded by farm animals. As long as you're ok with that then there's no other downsides to staying here. Great location for your Abel Tasman adventures. 10 minute walk to beach / start of park. Reasonably priced. Basic rooms but clean. (We stayed in the huts). Also decent bathrooms with powerful showers. You pay for Internet but...
