My wife and I have been in Soubran for two weeks. We stayed in Domaine la Fontaine. The swimming pool was very nice and Marc and Jacqueline were very friendly! We really enjoyed our stay. The villages and cities nearby are nice to visit. :-)

Fine county, wonderful weather in this season. Super sympathic and enthousiastic owners, Marc and Jacqueline, who know the region very well and inspire you to get the best of it. Authentic and cozy B&B in a quiet but not isolated neighborhood. Safe parking. The highlights of the region can be explored on daytrip bases. Escape- and holiday feeling guaranteed. We'll...

Meet the hosts who have made their dream of a hide out on the country side come true. They will make your holiday dream come true as well. Don´t espect boring 5 star luxury which can be found everywhere, but expect being treated as an old friend even if you stay for the fist time. The setting is romantic, family...

We stayed for 7 days. The property is situated in a small village near all the great Chateaus in the Medoc. The owners make you feel at home. They speak several languages (French, Dutch, English, German) so you are always able to communicate without barrier. We loved being there and enjoyed visiting the Cote Sauvage, Angouleme, Bourg, a Winery and...

We are en route from Cherbourg to Santander and do it 'off the cuff'' and out of season, so v lucky to find a comfortable bed and such pleasant people, and everyone so helpful. Will reccomend to anyone travelling this area. Many...

A beautiful property with tastefully furnished rooms and two people who provide a friendly and easy going service and the possibility to table d'hôtes on wednesdays (and probably sundays). The surrounding area is gorgeous and not that far from the Atlantic coast. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed 1 week at the Domaine La Fontaine in 1 of the 4 available holiday houses named Gabare. It turned out to be an excellent stay with the only remark that needs to be made: 1 week is absolutely too short to see everything: A couple of highlights for us were the city bordeaux and Saintes, the citadel of...

We stayed for one week in a "Gite" (cottage) at Domaine la Fontaine. Marc & Jacqueline (the hosts) are fantastic and they make us feel at home. At wednesday they cooked for us (Table d'Hotes) and we really had a nice evening at the dinnertable with them and some other guests. If you need a nice stay in France and...

We stayed one night on Domaine la Fontaine en route to a holiday in the Loire Valley, and we were absolutely deligthed with the experience. The hotel is located in a wonderful area near a couple of quaint villages, and it is at a perfect distance from the main NorthWest road from Bordeaux-Loire: isolated enough to feel in the country...
