Staying at Halnaby is like staying in a stately home! The bedrooms are enormous ours had a little front room in it . You have breakfast in the dining room sat around a 12 seat regency table. Guests have their own front room with period furnishings all around . Outside is a beautifully looked after courtyard and lawned gardens with...

This place is top quality, set in private estate but within short reach of local pubs and Darlington, eight miles or so! I have visited many BnB's over many years as a motorsport photographer and I can assure you this is the best by far. Owner Rosie is a wonderful hostess and helps you feel at home. A place to...

We had a fantastic stay at Halnaby Hall Stables, only with it could have been longer than 1 night. Housed in a beautiful building in the heart of some lovely countryside, Rosie and Mike made us feel very welcome in their home. Every detail had been thought of to make their guests' stay very comfortable and luxurious- Very comfy beds,...

The Halnaby Hall web presence vastly under-states this delightful property. You will be in rural Yorkshire surrounded by narrow roads lined with hedgerows and stone walls. The air is filled with the aromas of an English county-side, warm, earthy and musty. And don't think that you will be short of things to see and do, from beautiful scenery, magnificent stone...

we returned once again to the beautiful Halnaby Hall Stables and it is still absolutely amazing. The perfect B & B you could ever wish to stay at. The surroundings, the ambience and the beautiful rooms are every bit of 5* put this with the warmest and genuine welcome guests receive from Rosie and you have perfection. Rooms are very...

If you stay in the area of Croft, this is the only place to stay. Large rooms, friendly owners and the best breakfast. I have stayed three times now and will not go anywhere else. Set in peaceful surroundings close to Croft Race track, Darlington and Middlesbrough and not far from Newcastle

What a little beauty! A fab place, beautiful rooms, great breakfast and a really welcoming host in Rosie. Huge rooms -when you think of a twin room, two double beds doesn't automatically spring to mind and the other room had a super king and the rooms are huge and beautifully put together and a great price!. Just a beautiful place,...

I travel on business all over the UK and and can choose where I stay so I was somewhat sceptical of the 35 five star reviews but they were all correct, Halnaby Hall Stables is perfect. Rosie and Mike's warm welcome, hospitality, friendless and local knowledge together with the beautiful location, (10 mins from Scotch Corner), quiet, spacious, spotless rooms,...

We stayed at Rosie and Mike last June and it was wonderful again. This is almost like being in heaven! We felt very welcome and Rosie and Mike gave us the warmest welcome you could imagine. We had some problems with our navigation system and it was getting dark already. Finding the stables became a bit difficult but after a...
