If you like to get away from the crowd and appreciate a lonely beach this is your dream come true. We stayed in the Piggery, a beautifully converted and sensitively furnished old Goan building which had everything we could have wanted (except perhaps some shade in the afternoons). We had a isolated position directly overlooking the beach. The food at...

Such a beautiful place, comfortable and beautifully run. The owner has a clear idea of the sort of place he wants it to be and he has put in the staff and managemnt who achieve it completely. It is simple yet sophisticated, comfortable and stylish but not glitzy, eco but not uncomfortably so, the food is excellent and authentic the...

LOVED it here!!!. I stayed in the Priest House and had the choice of three bedrooms! Intricately carved four poster beds, with an old rickety radio playing only 50's Doo-wop! Soooo chilled!, this extended to the radio in the mess tent, make shift, but again, simply perfect. A stunning white bullock tied to a tree only yards yards away,. quite...

My husband and I are about to return to elsewhere this month for the third time having already spent two wonderful holidays there during the past year. We have stayed in the beach houses and the otter creek tents and have equally enjoyed staying in both, the experience is slightly different and the tents are quite fun! Both are executed...

Perfect place to get away from it all. We spent a week in March, staying in the Bakery. Minimalist and rustic in equal measure, yet it has all the comfort you need. What sets Elsewhere apart is its location on a beautiful unspoilt beach. Highly recommended!

This is a jewel. Location, over a bamboo bridge on a virtual island in a quiet part of Goa (VERY unusual!) with lovely family and friends managing the collection of old Goan buildings and luxury tents. We stayed in the Bakery and walked straight on to the beach, with a ten minute calory-reduction walk to breakfast, lunch and dinner at...

I have no idea what my holiday cost me,as it was a gift from my daughter, but presumably it matches the more upscale 5-star resorts, because you get what most people want on holiday - personal attention when you want it or need it, to be left alone when you want to be left alone and total unwind. Elsewhere is...

We normally stay in more modest hotels, but we had a sense to get some peace in Goa, we should pay a little more. Elsewhere is about 1.5 hours by cab north of the airport- they picked us up (for a hefty fee) and brought us there, and our bags were whisked away by porters upon arrival. We stayed for...

Oh my what a wonderful place,We really were spoilt from our arrival to our departure a week later. We booked the Priests house which is fantastic-a brilliant location 50 mtrs from a beautiful beach. This location is very quiet-we did go very early season but i suspect it never really gets over busy, the restaurant is very good as is...

We spent 6-7 days in Elsewhere in one of its beach houses. Remarks: - there is a spectacular view to the ocean from the house veranda; - the long beach, which was 15 metres from the house, was just for us. We were not bothered almost by anyone (with the exception of few polite vendors who also attracted attention of...
