Hello bestfitter What a wonderful review! So much time, effort and care (not to mention money!) goes into planning a wedding, and it's always lovely to help be a part of such a special occasion. I'm so glad you feel we did your daughter proud, and will pass on your thanks to the whole team.

Stayed over night at the Inglewood with a friend whilst we visited Chester racecourse. The hotel was ideally located to drive in to Chester. We were for-warned that there was a wedding party booked for our night but the restaurant was still open. This did not affect service. It was a shame that the restaurant was open plan so it...

Hello flojo Many thanks for your lovely review, I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. I just wish you'd let us know that your breakfast was not as warm as you'd have liked, as we will always cook a breakfast fresh to order if that is the case. Do come back and see us again soon.

Stayed here the night before my cousins big day and then again in a different room on the night of the wedding with my husband and toddler. As the maid of honour I found that pestering the staff was no trouble to them, they literally could not do enough to help us out... we forgot our tooth brushes... they provided...

Hi Jen Many thanks for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. We love hosting weddings here, and it's so nice to hear that the staff's efforts to make every bride's big day as special as possible do not go unoticed. I will pass your kind words onto the team - they'll be thrilled!

We haven't stayed at Inglewood since New Year's Eve so this was a welcome return for us. As always the welcome from Jeannie was warm and friendly, check-in was smooth. We'd asked to stay in room 30 which is on the top floor and tucked away. It's a comfortable and spacious room. Housekeeping throughout the hotel was very good. We...

Lovely to welcome you back, Shropshire skiers - it's always so nice to see old friends! I'll have a chat with the chef about Sunday night's menus, but I think many of our guests do enjoy a traditional roas dinner on a Sunday, (we just need to make sure there are plenty of alternatives!)

This is a quiet, comfortable place to enjoy Wirral. It's a bit off the beaten path and still easy to find. Surrounded by manicured grounds, you'll feel like a Lord. My room was well furnished and clean. There are well appointed public rooms where you can relax and the staff is friendly a helpful. I enjoyed breakfast in the dining...

Hi James What a lovely review - I suppose for many people Inglewood Manor would represent the quintessential English country house, and I delighted that we were able to make you feel like Lord of the Manor during your visit!

I visited for Afternoon Tea last Friday as a special treat for my mother and mother in law. I explained that I couldn't eat butter and my mother in law could not eat brown bread. The sandwiches were uninspired and tasteless. I was presented with ham and tomato (no mustard promised on the menu) and egg mayo (no cress promised...

Hello Pinkavalon Thanks so much for taking the trouble to write a review. I'm so sorry you did not enjoy your visit to us, it's so frustrating when we receive so many fabulous reviews for our aftenoon tea, that a less fantastic one slips through the net! We will take a thorough look at why your sandwhiches were not up...

Not our first visit but our worst. Yes, the structure and grounds are impressive but the service was terrible and the room even worse. We were celebrating our Anniversary and decided to return to the Inglewood which is close to where we live. We had booked dinner for 8pm. and so ordered drinks on the terrace, a pleasant evening, before...

Hello mickeydee I'm so sorry that your most recent visit to Inglewood did not match your expectations. One a last-minute business trip from Luxembourg, I decided to forego my usual Chester hotel, and try this place. what a good decision that was. This small manor-house sits in beautifully-tended grounds, and it is without doubt the most beautiful place ever to have an 0151 dial-code. Hard to imagine it being so close to big cities and industries... I...
