This is an excellent hotel which we have been visiting for many years. Our latest lunch visit was last week to celebrate a special occasion and I can only say it was better than ever. The staff are very well trained and carry out their duties in an exemplary manner. Our meal was served by several different staff; all of...

The first time we stayed at Gibbon Bridge was for my nephew's wedding - and it was the best wedding I have been to, no bias!! The hotel, gardens, bar, food and staff could not be bettered in any way. I have been several times since, including for Mothers' Day lunch. This place makes every event extra special and I...

Attended a wedding here on Saturday, everything from start to finish was so very well organised. Even the rain could not spoil the day. The wedding reception meal was extremely well presented and cooked. Even the bacon and sausage sandwiches that were served later on in the evening were served nice and hot and were delicious. Our room was clean,...

Stayed overnight for a wedding and have to say the wedding was very well done and the food service and rooms were great if a little on the expensive side - I would go again and the setting is stunning and would recommend this for anyone looking for a wedding venue

We stayed at the Gibbon Bridge for one night for a wine tasting event in May 2017. I would highly recommend both the wine tasting event and a stay at the Gibbon Bridge. You should expect 'an old fashioned approach' from the general décor to the very friendly welcome that you get and you will enjoy a quiet, remote, countryside...

My husband and I stayed for one night for a friends wedding. We arrived early but were shown to our room right away regardless! Entered to find a multi-level room with the bathroom and sitting area on the ground with stairs to the MASSIVE super king sized bed and wardrobes upstairs! Decor was a bit outdated, but everything was clean...

Detail is what defines Gibbon Bridge with no detail being overlooked. The hotel rooms, gardens and food are all superb. An elderly friend and I recently stayed for a night, and having mentioned when booking that my friend struggled to walk far, he was given a room right next to the lift. Our rooms were very spacious with super comfy...

Had a lovely couple of nights stay here. Our first visist but would definitely go back if we are in the area again. The room was very nice and spacious and was nice to have a separate sitting area. The breakfast and evening meal were both first class. The lady on reception was very helpful when we needed directions and...

Thankyou for a lovely day for our afternoon tea party and the helicopter was brilliant. A beautiful place with beautiful grounds food and staff. It made our nieces 21st birthday a very memorable occasion for our family.
