Loved this place! After visiting wineries and sightseeing most of the day and coming back to a nice pool, we could enjoy a nice meal and bottle of fine French Bordeaux wine we had purchased earlier as well as the one we had with dinner.
This hotel really took me back to the grand hotels of the 1960s and 70s in its scale and fittings. Not bad in itself but it does trigger some melancholy reflections on how yesterday's luxury merely seems quaint and slightly bizarre nowadays.
