We stayed in the hotel for 7 days and overall had a pleasant enough experience, that unfortunately was also extremely frustrating at times. We are great fans of the Four Seasons, Mandarin and the last few years the St Regis properties - sadly this hotel did not deliver to the comparable standard. The pluses are: - Very nice natural beach...

We took our 2&5 year olds for 10 days during the Easter holidays and the hotel beat all expectations. We had a glorious room - although I have to say if you choose mountain view, it's more rocky hill than mountain! (Get sea view if you can - we didn't and wished we had!) They have five pools, but the...

My daughter and I stayed there for four nights in two day splits. The hotel is set on 200 acres out of the city and is in every way fabulous although very expensive, as are all the amenities. Beautiful rooms and great staff. We had a situation where we reserved a room with two beds that was taken when we...

OMG the entrance hall is truly magestic and beautiful Great room over looking the gardens and ocean Food good, service fantastic, nothing to much trouble Pool and gardens immaculate with plenty of space to have some peace Can't complain and would recommend It's closing in May for a complete revamp and overhaul as it's been taken over - we will...

From the first step into the breath taking atrium, the scent of the incense the fantastic lines of the building, the fabric, the chandeliers and the water feature we knew we had found what we were looking for. The staff 100% exceptional nothing too much trouble, the food would please even the most pedantic critic, and the view well that...

It is a great hotel. I was particularly impressed by a young restaurant manager Vishal Sivadas. Nothing was too much trouble for him. There wasn't much on the menu for vegetarians. He kindly organised the chef to discuss and agree the dish. This arrived promptly and it was delicious. Vishal, looked after us and throughout our stay with wide smile...

We had a lovely stay in the Al Bustan. Overall the staff made our stay wonderful. Rooms are comfortable but can have an update. We had food in all restaurants and the quality of the food is good but nothing special. The hotel is a bit outside of the city centre (about 20/30min with the hotel transfer). The spa is...

Amazing resort to start with, visually stunning from any angle. The grounds are really well maintained and the pool areas are special. There is a really nice beach with direct access. The rooms are a little dated/traditional but clean and tidy. The real attraction here though is the staff. What a great bunch of people, so warm, friendly and helpful....

Al Bustan Palace The Riz-Carlton in Muscat is a paradise of the best customer service and care I have ever seen in my professional and travelling career. Your taxi door will be open by the most smiling face of one of the bell boys, then the view of the main lobby will stop your breath and you will forget to...

We spent over a week here and it was a very relaxing environment after full days exploring the area. The poolside was beautiful and the pool itself very inviting at the end of the day. Staff are mostly friendly and helpful. The restaurants are ok but nothing special and very expensive. Each night we ate in the hotel it was...
