This is a Logis hotel with a gourmet style restaurant. Firstly the greeting from monsieur was warm and welcoming. The room up some steep stairs (caution for those unsteady on your feet) was quite small though decent enough- it will soon be dated as even now it is typically French country style but getting older! The restaurant was quiet but...

We had a very great time in our short stay with this hotel. The rooms are well maintained and the staff are very accommodating. The location is excellent as well because it's only a few steps away from Cathedral Sees and This hotel is highly recommended for everyone

Due to the floods in France we stayed ended up in Sees. The hotel quaint, but for a 3 star hotel I expected a nice view and not a dead plant in a flowerpot. In the mornings the builders next door were noisy. The floorboards were very squeaky. No coffee or tea in the room and I was surprised to...

This is a Logis and must be rated as such. Logis themselves have a useful and usually reliable rating system. It is perfectly situated for a driving break being only minutes from the motorway; Sées itself being very quiet since being bypassed. The rooms were excellently provided and this hotel had something not often found in .French Hotels whatever their...

Sees is well positioned if you re travelling through Normandy to the South ( or the other way round). It has an interesting tourist route in the town but not a lot more. The hotel is well situated in the centre and parking is available close by. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The only drawback is the steep...

Ray Appleby wrote; Wonderful, quaint rooms, full of character. Absolutely everything you need - toiletries, robes, water, fruit, local nuts, etc. However, the restaurant, both for dinner and breakfast, is truly the most wonderful we've ever had. Beautiful arrangements, exquisite food, served with style and sincerity - unbeatable, 5 star.

Le dauphin serves traditional gourmet food at a very reasonable price. The dishes keep coming thick and fast and never disappoint. It is the opposite of modern fast food. Our only regret was that we were so full that we didn’t want breakfast the next day and we know from previous experience that the breakfasts here are to die for....

Our room was small but very comfortable with lots of special touches. Our hosts were very welcoming. Dinner was beautifully cooked and well presented local produce and gluten free. Monsieur Bellier really understands the gluten free diet. He even made me corn bread. Other Logis chefs should take lessons from him! There was a huge choice for breakfast but we...

Ended up feeling sorry for the people running this hotel. They obviously try hard and it seemed like they wanted to supply lots of 'little extras'. The room was comfortable and clean but overpriced - the 'little extras' did not warrant the room price. We wondered if it was perhaps because there is no major competition within the town itself....
