Yes there was an awful lot of midges in May, way more than previous years, I think it was the mild winter. Glenveagh National Park is the same, and maybe even more. Hopefully the rest of the summer will be better.

Well run, clean, friendly camping site set in beautiful countryside.
Peaceful. Only down side is its a bit cramped for caravans.
Great walks around the local lanes & a good pub nearby.
We would go back.
Tip: bring midge repellant in summer.
