The hotel is ok with respect to price they charge . But abano therm has many good properties . Too hot inside room due to heater and if u open the window u will face insects . Impolite staff . Infra is v old fashioned and also therma and pools give u feel of 70s

Basically a spa hotel! If you have B and B then you might struggle to find enough choice of restaurants nearby. The town is very quiet and pleasant and near enough to Padua to get in by bus so it's position is quite a benefit. The pool was huge, an attraction when I booked, but it's just too warm for...

I go back to this place every year, and I have tried other hotels in the Abano area before. Family run, this hotel has recently undergone a refurb so the pool area is great--two pools, one outdoors and one indoors--and the food is amazing. I highly recommend it

Upon arrival (and after a long journey might I add) I stumbled in and was greeted by an obnoxious and patronizing receptionist who did not show nor direct me to my room, despite me having much luggage and room being on the third floor. Room was filthy- greasy spattered lampshade, peeling wallpaper and bathroom door did not close. To top...

Nice hotel; friendly and helpful staff. We had a camera classic with mezza pensione and enjoyed a good breakfast buffet and a really good dinner. Specially the salad buffet was delicious; a great variety of dishes from which you could make your choice. Also the following courses were of a good choice and taste; served at the table. The wellness...

awful atmosphere, poor swimming pool for naming itself 4star hotel, average dusty rooms, rude and unpleasant some of the staff, but above all - the breakfast is just nothing! small room, cold pieces of unfresh food.

We chose this hotel simply from information on the internet. We phoned the hotel which arranged private transport from Venice and return. All arrangements worked perfectly. On arrival we were upgraded to a room with air conditioning and a balcony at no extra cost. It was agood place to dry our towels and costumes etc. All the hotels are set...

We stayed here two nights when visiting Venice. Abano Terme is a spa town, riddled with hotels and almost nothing else of note. The average visitor appears to be over sixty and enjoying disposable income, so the average standard of hotels and shops is quite high. We took full-board at the Universal and the meals were the best feature of...

I spent three nights at the Hotel Universal Terme recently and quite enjoyed the experience. My favorite part was possibly the large, old-fashioned, elegant lobby with its plush chairs and couches. I don't think I've ever spent so much time sitting at a hotel bar (which is part of the lobby) and people-watching. My room was clean and comfortable. The...

We spent a few days at the Hotel Universal in Abano. The hotel has a great sleek new spa, pools and a good restaurant. The staff went way beyond to accomodate us. Very central and reasonably priced.
