I was coming to Costa Rica to assist a yoga retreat, I came early and the place I was staying was booked so they arranged for me to stay at B&B Tranquilla for one night. I was so happy to be in coaster Rica, that I was fine with it. Bo, was I pleasantly surprised when Steve the owner picked...

Roomy, comfortable room with access to a full kitchen that we took advantage of to cook dinner one night. Maura is a very accommodating host who picked us up at the train station and arranged for his father to give us a ride to the ruins. Although located very near to the train station, the B&B is very well insulated...

Tranquillo (which means relaxed in italian) was actually the name of our host in this very clean, very central and very comfortable hostel in Agrigento. We arrived at 11 at night with no prior booking and nowhere else to go. Tranquillo took care of everything, giving us a comfortable room and a more than sufficient breakfast. Definitely recommend to anyone...

Not sure how this place has such glowing reviews... nothing massively wrong with it, it just isn't 5 stars. The owner (?) Mauro was nice though. It is a shared apartment I would say, not a B&B. There was no 'staff presence' - we were just given keys to the apartment and left to it after a brief introduction. To...

The room has A/C which is really important if you travel to Sicily in the summer. The breakfast are great! ask for the pistachio croissants! and Mauro is really a great person and...

This is a really friendly and enjoyable B&B run by Mauro and his family. It is very well located just down from the old centre of Agrigento about 5 minutes walk from the train station. Mauro gives you good directions how to get there if you arrive by train but he also went to the trouble to meet me which...

We had a great time in b&b tranquillo. Good location, perfect service and excellent price. Mauro is a nice guy, who gave a lot of informations about the city and its culture. We loved it! I totally recommend.

Once again I had written a review of this wonderful place and could no longer access my old account! We stayed for a week here in sept 2011. It is situated very close to the old historic centre about 250m and a 5 minute walk and bus ride to the Valley of Temples. It is located in a quite area...

We were so spoiled having the lovely B&B run by Mauro and his family to ourselves during our stay in Agrigento. Mauro brought us cornettas filled with chocolate and pistachio cream every morning and made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant recommendations Mauro provided to us were excellent and reasonably priced. The accommodation was located well and was...
