The owner/manager was very friendly and went out of his way to be helpful and welcoming; the rooms, though not luxurious, were comfortable and well-appointed, and offered great value for money. We were really happy with our stay there and warmly recommend it.

All was perfect for us. Breakfast was only at 8AM, but when you know you get around this easy. Area is great for a village, nice people all around, nice boutiques, good restaurant attached to the hotel (not great, but good). It was a perfect weekend location, going to Alba was 30 minutes.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly & helpful. It was a great location for day trips on the Lange (which is a must see) & Roero. The area is beautiful. Close to the towns of Bra, Barolo & my favorite SerraLanghe. We were served a wonderful breakfast each morning with a smile & conversation with staff....

Our overallimpression of the hotel was very good from the very beginning: A nice welcome & a prompt check-in, lots of suggestions for restaurants and tours in the surroundings (the map with restaurant suggestions was really good - many other hotels could copy this idea). The room was nice, clean and well equipped - the style somewahat "italian" but with a...

Situated near the outskirts, but within Alba, the hotel is isolated from the light industry, office buildings and residential areas that surround it. It is a quiet, green oasis in the city. The staff is friendly, helpful with suggestions and they anticipate most of your needs without you having to ask. This is remarkable! There is a large garden that...

Spent the night in this charming, comfortable hotel in a superior ground floor room with patio doors leading onto the garden. The room itself was excellent. Large, comfortable bed and incredible bathroom facilities. The only hotel used on holiday when I had the luxury of actually sitting down to dry my hair and do my make up. What bliss! The...

Really, Nico and his team made this Piedmont holiday for us - from advice before we arrived, to tips on where to eat and what to see, he was a model of patience and information, and went way beyond helpfulness in actually cycling twice to the station to get us train tickets from Turin in advance. We had a standard...

If you were looking to open a hotel and wanted to visit somewhere to understand how to differentiate yourself from the crowd of medium price hotels and to put clear blue water between you and the budget operators then you would struggle to find a better place to come for an object lesson than this. From start to finish the...

Nico owns and runs the Hotel Langhe. We arrived late afternoon after a long drive. "Sit down and have a glass of wine and then I will help you with your luggage were his first words." For us, the perfect gig. Beautifully appointed rooms, and an atmosphere relaxed and user friendly. We strongly recommend this hotel which will enhance anyone's...

I must admit I was a little dubious when we first drove down the driveway into the hotel. Its in a residential area not within walking distance of the city centre (but that is such not an issue if you have a car anyway) - and the outside of the hotel looks mediocre. We picked a 3 start because it...
