Everything perfect! People and personnel extremely friendly and ready to help in every occasion. Restaurant for the guest only of very high rank. Rooms were perfect as well as the swimming pool and other services. Quite place notwithstanding close to Arezzo downtown. Strongly suggested

We’ve spent 3 nights here for our wedding anniversary. The hotel is small and modern, very clean and well kept, especially its outdoor spaces where you can find two swimming pools (but one is private and belongs to the owners). There is an extra cost of €9/night for the open air car-park which we found inappropriate, especially considering that it wasn’t sheltered. Apparently there is a free public parking but didn’t see it anywhere near the hotel! When we booked we were told we had a “DELUXE” bedroom so we were expecting a bigger room with amenities. The room was modern, new and very clean but definitely too small to be considered a deluxe (you could barely walk around the bed). Also I would expect free tea & coffee making facilities in a 4-star hotel, but these were at an extra cost! (1,50€ for coffee or tea). The minibar was present with reasonable costs. The Tv had no satellite channels. The bathroom was nice with a big shower. Breakfast was nice and quite rich; staff is very kind and smiley. However we had different expectations for our stay as we had planned to visit the Spa every day but unfortunately the costs were ridiculously high. In fact the Spa can only be accessed privately at a cost of €139/hour per room!. I can understand that COVID must have forced a change of procedures and for sure a small extra charge per person for extra disinfection would have been ok but definitely not €139 for just 1 hour! The use of the outdoor Jacuzzi cost €99/hour! We travel a lot and spend many nights in hotels around the world but it never happened to us to find such a sky high price for a service that - quite frankly- should be included in the room price, also considering the misleading name of the hotel (Resort and Spa). When I spoke to the owner at the end of our stay and explained my views, she said that this is their policy but I still think that a hotel who namely offers a Spa should have its access included in the room price (same for the outside parking!). We learnt about the all these extra costs only upon our online check-in as we hadn’t visited the hotel website but got the info on Booking.com and, of course, at that point it would have been impossible to cancel our stay without incurring in cancellation charges!

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. Every day we dedicate all our efforts and enthusiasm to make the stay of all our guests a pleasant and rewarding experience. Our Service Charter is available on our website, is sent by email at the time of booking, is present in each room and specifies which services are included in the stay and which are to be paid for (catering, wellness treatments, etc..) with a clear indication of the relative costs, in addition to that it is our care to communicate directly to our guests the cost of additional services that they request. In addition, all our extra services can be booked with an indication of the relative costs in our free App, which is sent to all our Guests before their stay. The Covid-19 health regulations have obliged us to revise the way we use our Spa, which is now only accessible with the "Private Spa" formula, which includes: private use of the wellness centre for 2 people for 60 minutes, with hydrogen peroxide sanitisation after each use for total hygiene. Free parking is available outside the Resort (the distance between the free outdoor parking area and the indoor parking area is a few metres). For those Guests who wish to do so, the iConic Resort & Grand Spa provides a private indoor car park with video surveillance at an extra cost. Unfortunately, those who are not accustomed to frequenting certain environments and who consider the (economic) price as their first parameter of judgement should look for structures other than ours. We send you our best regards from Tuscany. Enrico Callegari Sales & Marketing Consultant iConic Resort & Grand Spa

Hotel is not bad, but they ask very high price for 'extra's' which in our opinion should be included: 1 hour just sitting in a hottub for 2 persons: 78 euro's (!! this one we really went "whaat??") - use of hot water machine in the room: 2 euro's per thea bag or coffee. Also - cost of dinner is very high - about 2-3 times higher than a local restaurant. Cappuccino at the pool - 8 euro's (!). Beer even more expensive. These astronomical prices had a bad aftertaste - it is too commercial. They almost beg you to have dinner in here (they call you every evening at 19:00). Know also that when you sleep with an open window, you will be waked by a rooster or a stray dog. Their rules say also that you are not allowed to consume own food and drinks in the room (!). Most of the staff does not speak english but they are friendly. Breakfast is ok, but nothing special. No reception. Pool is not heated. Good points: It is very clean there, big balcony, no traffic there, you feel safe because the property is closed and there are dozens of camera's.

Dear Mr. Louis, We believe that your review is the result of a misunderstanding, probably due to language problems. During your stay you didn't even spend 1 Euro extra; if you had, you would have found out that the prices you indicated don't correspond to those of our services exta... Our Service Charter is available online and is sent to all our Guests via email with the booking confirmation (in addition to being present in each room) and specifies which services are included in the stay and which are paid for (catering, wellness treatments, etc..) with a clear indication of the relative costs. Before the stay, moreover, we invite all our Guests to download for free our App where you can view and book our extra services. In case of doubt it is always possible to ask for clarifications. In the hope that you can stay in our Resort & Spa again, We send you our best regards from Tuscany. Enrico Callegari Sales & Marketing Consultant iConic Resort & Spa
