We stayed for a night in the hotel with a friend. The structure is quite old and badly maintained. Same for the rooms. The breakfast is just average. The personnel is nice. Won’t suggest this hotel for a staying in Bardonecchia.
This was the first ski holiday for our 9 year old, so we wanted to make it as easy as possible. The hotel is situated right next to the ski rental places & right next to the main lifts from Campo Smith - perfect! Ski & boot room was well placed & convenient. The hotel itself is quite modernist - not traditional, but absolutely fine. The family room was spacious, although the mattresses could do with updating. We had to ask for drinks facilities - we got a kettle, no cups, sugar, etc so we had to borrow some from the dining hall. Noisy Italian kids aside, the hotel was quite quiet as we asked for a room facing away from the slopes - the other side had to suffer the music from the bar next to the slopes (they have balconies, we didn't) & that would have been tedious. Food was excellent - standard breakfast mix of hot & cold food, but the evening meals were outstanding. A little exotic sometimes for our daughter, but the standard was very high & the service was quick & friendly - the waiters were a real hit with our daughter! The pool area & spa were included in our holiday & we were surprised that more wasn't made of these facilities as they were lovely!…
A basic hotel in need of some TLC; the door to my room wasn't secure and looked like it had been kicked in before (would have asked to move rooms if I wasn't with my bf as I wouldn't have felt safe), the heating in the room was unmanageable and made the majority of the stay uncomfortable, the walls between the rooms / corridors were paper thin - and during the latter part of the week the hotel was hosting a big corporate event and due to their constant partying into the early hours of the morning, I barely slept for the last 3 nights of my stay. The food and service was a bit hit and miss... so much so, on the last night we went out for dinner! Despite the hotel being good access to the slopes, the resort wasn't impressive at all and the hotel leaves a lot to be desired - I wouldn't stay there again, I value my sleep too much!…
Perfect Location right on the slopes with all amenities - bars, resturants, ski school and hire in complex - plenty to do in the evening for families and just bus trip or walk from the village which also has plenty of restaurants, shops and bars
The hotel location is very good and what is most important for a ski trip. The rooms are ok but quite simple, food sometimes good and sometimes worse. The spa is really good, perfect after a day in the slope. Ski-in, with free storage of your skiing gear.
