We stayed there with a tent. The pitches has very few or no shadow. It is really inconvenient with a tent. The streets are really narrow and not all pitches can be reached on street. Our neighbours asked us to build up our tent that way, to leave enough place that they can leave their pitch trough our pitch. In the dishwasher room there are separate taps for cold and hot water, that you can not mix and set a comfortable water-temperature. These taps provide hot water only for a short time, so you have to push it several times during dish washing.

Pros: Position - pratically on the beach - nice. Mini market - mini but it has quite every things you may need. Animation - focused on children perfect for families. Cons: Price - Compared on what you get is "unforgettable". Parking - not so easy, you may be forced to move your car to let in some caravan. Restaurant - Service is not prepared for children, menu is poor and it is been the same for 10 days. Silence - is not the main theme till very late in the night... Or let say early in the morning.

I wanted to escape the torrid heat of the Northern Italian cities with my family from the 16 july to the 23 july. I wanted a low cost no frills self catering package and i certainly found this here. I wanted to avoid the usual overpriced All-inclusive packages which you can find in romagna for 3 times the prices i paid and you end up disgruntled. Folks if you are looking for Club med/Valtur/Eden viaggi holidays, Camp sites are not for you. These kind of holiday must be approached with an 'Open Mind'. The Ground floor flat was very spacious, simple and had all that was needed. I parked my car infront of the flat no problems. I was accompanied on arrival by the very polite and kind ground staff after a very nice welcome by the kind receptionists. The beach is just a stone throw away and has all the necessary services (bar/animation/volleyball/kids area/showers & toliets/ Typhoon cruise boat which takes you all around the romagna coast line every day) typical of the the romagna coast line. People moan about being very close to each over on the beach, But folks that's romagna wherever you go. You have at your disposal an excellent inside supermarket, tennis court, baths/showers/washing machines galore, A medium sized swimming pool , 2 bars, 1 restaurant and also a very soft animation team ( with pleasant/harmless animation during the afternoon and evening) Also just a stroll away is San mauro mare - which is perfect for families! try the bombolone (assorted fresh dough nuts) ready at 20:30 every day, try also the fish at the Central bar/restaurant, Try the smashing icecreams. To be honest i never moved the car in a week you have got everything you need for a very good 'low cost' holiday in Emiglia Romagna for families ( campers and non). Also i forgot my camera in the flat and only realised when i got back home 300 km away, i phoned them up and they were ever so efficient and helpful and sent it back to me via courrier. Normally i never go back to the same place twice. But folks it' s very hard not to go back to such a friendly lovely place. The only downside are the Italian motorways around Modena- Bologna-Imola. Play your timing right otherwise you will get stuck on it for hours. Try and avoid the main motorways as much as possible during rushhours. Big thanks to Simone and all the magnificent staff Mark, Monica & Edward Chambers

We stayed here in the beginning of June which is low season. This meant that we had a wide range of pitches to chose from. We decided to stay as close to the sea as possible. Not the smartest move from our side. a) you don't get sea views because there is a big fence between camp site and beach (which is ok for privacy reasons) but especially b) means a lot of noise. Even then in low season you had people playing beach volleyball - and listening to music - until way past midnight. And then you get all the noise from the town square as well. Since we stayed 3 nights we got to use the sun beds on the beach for free. I REALLY wouldn't want to spend my summer vacation there. It must be VERY crowded and loud in peak season. You get free wifi access when staying at the camp site. Always a plus.
