My wife and I stopped by Hotel Diana for two nights so we could visit the Monastery at Monte Cassino. For our purposes we found this hotel the good hotel at the good price. The hotel itself is an older hotel and is set back from the main highway. Therefore, there is not noise from traffic. There was no noise during sleeping hours as we had at other hotels in Rome. The staff was really wonderful. Very attentive, Very respectful to us. They had a small breakfast everyday and they served a very good Capaccino coffee every morning. They had a small elevator which was great for seniors like us. We do not speak Italian and they spoke very little English, but we communicated very well. Simply put, there were no problems.

I did like my stay here, as it was short, but I could have done without the very loud early morning noises coming from above there the hosts live, and where hard soled shoes at 6am, which echoes very badly. The breakfast was nice, you get to chose what you want, and the grilled cheese with ham was excellent. Nice people, clean, but the noise was too much for me.

I have nothing but good things to say about Hotel Diana. We were very warmly welcomed by their wonderful staff. From the moment we arrived, they were there to help us with whatever we needed. The hotel is very clean with a comfortable atmosphere. The reception staff were excellent hosts, especially Marco. He went out of his way to make us comfortable. We chatted with them all a few times and had great fun! The room was cleaned every day, and none of our things were ever disturbed. Though not a breakfast person, it all looked very inviting while I had my coffee in the dining room. I asked Marco why the hotel was only rated a 3 on Trip Advisor. He said it's because they don't get enough reviews. Therefore, please be sure to leave one so that they receive the recognition they deserve!…

I stayed here on a school trip, and although it’s not the worst place I’ve ever stayed, it’s certainly not the best. The rooms are tiny. Two people can’t get ready in the bathroom at the same time. There’s little storage space, so my suitcase blocks the walkway. There are some nice restaurants around, but it feels as if everything is a hike from here.
