Lovely hotel with parking, great rooms, and fantastic breakfast and dinner. Thank you Fabiana and Leah for your customer service and for the room with a view. Beautiful. Also, I must acknowledge the excellent waiter staff with Luigi and Fabio particularly,

We loved our stay at Relais Manfredi. Be sure to book an ocean view room, the view is stunning. The entire hotel is sparkling clean and the staff is great. The dinners were delicious. The breakfast buffet was amazing, with great coffee. One of our party needed a gluten free diet. The staff thoughtfully brought her a gluten free croissant every morning. We would love to stay here again. Excellent experience. Please note, the driveway is a bit of a challenging entrance. ~Karen & Steve

This hotel is off the beaten track, but exudes quality from start to finish. As you tackle the narrow road up towards the hotel, the initial impression is “where are we, where are we going?”. However once you get there, the hotel is very impressive and provides the visitor with an excellent experience. The hotel is built up (and into) the hillside, so all bay facing rooms have fantastic views over the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius.
Rooms are well-appointed with good facilities. But the additional benefits are the views from the hotel, and the quality of the staff, whom are so helpful and accommodating. Dinner is good. Breakfast is great, providing a wide buffet selection. You can have dinner watching the sun set; and you can have breakfast watching the sun rise. Absolutely excellent!
Well done to the Relais Manfredi team, and we look forward to our next visit.

We have just stayed at this hotel for four nights On our arrival we were warmly greeted by Luigi, who made Us feel very welcome and gave us advise and recommendations about the surrounding area. Breakfast was fantastic and once again Luigi made sure we had everything we could possibly want. That evening we ate in the restaurant and Luigi happily spoke to the chef to arrange a special menu instead of eating from the set menu to suit my vegetarian diet. The meal was delicious and cooked to perfection, nothing was too much trouble. We went back to our room with full bellies and enjoyed the amazing view of Mount Vesuvius from our balcony. The next morning however, Luigi was not in the restaurant and the waiter who served us seemed to Struggle to understand us. We asked for musli & yoghurt, he said they don’t have musli and brought us cornflakes he said it was the ‘same thing’ . We explained that it was on the menu and we had eaten it the day before. After some time he came back with some musli but no bowl or spoons, when we asked him for these items he said We could use our tea cups as there were no bowls! Some guests on the next table explained to him what we were asking for but he told them that we can use the tea cups, which we did so as not to make a fuss!! My husband asked for orange juice which never arrived! I asked for some bread & cheese but he told me there was no bread but brought out three slices of cheese on a plate. Anything we asked for I felt was an inconvenience, it made me feel ignorant for not being able to converse in his language, embarrassed and humiliated all I wanted to do was get out Of the restaurant , which we did, We didn’t go to breakfast again for the rest of our stay and unfortunately did not see Luigi again to thank him for his fantastic service. The hotel and rooms were kept very clean. I felt the curtesy shuttle service into town, 9am and 7pm not a great time for guests, this had to be booked the day before. fifteen euros each way by taxi Was very expensive each day. A walk would take forty five minutes (which we tried once) so without a car were isolated. Once in the town it was a short train ride to sorrento (around 10 euros for both return journey) and to Pompei (eight euros return for two). The hotel had functions on each night which were very loud, it was the constant scraping of chairs on the tiled floors that were so loud late into the night we didn’t sleep well. Needless to say, I would not return to this hotel.

Please be aware if you plan to book this hotel......the hotel is remote with no public transfer links. The hotel does run a complimentary car each morning at 10am and return journey at 7pm. If you don’t manage to get the courtesy service it is €15 each way, a total of €30 round trip The centre of town is very run down and not recommended as a tourist spot. There is no supermarket nearby in fact absolutely nothing near by😟 The restaurant is open for dinner in the evening but apart from that there is nothing else. The hotel is very nice with a lovely view across the Bay of Naples but is spoilt by the cranes from the ship building yard that is directly below the hotel. There is a sun terrace but no sun loungers only chairs and tables. If you don’t want to be in a remote hotel then don’t book this one.

+1
We just Returned from a multi hotel stay in Italy for 8 days and the RM was by far the highlight of our trip. Located in a quaint and historic area, not directly in the noisy hustle and bustle of towns, it was relaxing and serene. The sleek Italian design of the place and artistic touches made us feel we were in a very special place. The view of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius was fabulous both day and night, several nights we had fireworks displays down on the water.
Our room was spacious, again, sleekly designed and appointed well. Big shower, great water pressure and plenty of hot water. I don’t think I ever heard any hallway noise or noise from neighbors.
The restaurant, Vesuvius, was beautiful, accommodating our every need, and Roberto made the best coffee we had anywhere. Breakfasts had a nice assortment of meats, cheese, eggs, sweets and sautéed vegetables. They were so good that even my husband, who almost never eats veggies, ate them and went back for more.
Dinners were excellent too. Try the pasta with sausage and mushroom sauce. Fabulous.
Fabiano at the desk was super friendly and helpful. She has the power! We booked tours through her to Capri and a bus tour of Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano and more. Both excellent tours, don’t look any further-book through her for a reliable, comfortable and fascinating tour.
Luigi is a super host. We had an impromptu get together in the bar area one night with drinks and fabulous discussions with other guests we had just met. He sent up snacks and made sure we had everything we needed.
I highly recommend RM, I intend on going back.

An absolutely lovely hotel in Castellammare. There was not a time that this hotel was dirty. With it’s minimalist decor and architecture style and the cleanliness it lead to a very relaxing stay. We stayed here for a total of 7 nights with a ocean balcony view (highly recommend). The staff (Susie, Fabiana, Tony, and Luigi) were incredibly helpful with our many questions and requests. The complimentary shuttle car they offer to the city of Castellammare was extremely helpful and easy to book at from desk. We highly suggest this beautiful hotel.

Newly opened boutique hotel with 15 rooms, some of which face the sea with a spectacular view of Mount Vesuvius! Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Half board includes a wide selection of fruit, breads, pastry, meat and cheese and an evening meal which is prepared by excellent chef.
From the hotel we made excursions to Naples, Sorrento, Pompei and Amalfi coast, always returning to quiet of the hotel in Castellammare di Stabia! We plan a return visit in the late summer and will include Capri our excursions!
Great find!!

We were booked here for 6 nights this past October. The weather was perfect but had a little trouble locating the hotel. It is on a one lane road with an undergroind parking garage. Luigi the person at the desk when we arrived could not have been nicer or more helpful. He helped with our luggage , checked us in and valet parked our car. He helped us with directions and resaurant recommendations. He would always ask how our day was. The view of the Bay of Naples and Mt Vesuvius is quite impressive... we had one dinner at their very nice restaurant . We shared a plate of Ravioli as an appetizer and then i had the lamb chops and my companion had the Mussels. Both dishes were great very flavorlfull. . The dining room was very slow , we ended up being the last customers of the evening , the wait staff seemed to forget we were still there . The breakfasts are very very good ...the choices change daily. The pastries are really very good and so many choices. You may have your choice of egg dishes along with eggplant, zucchini and other vegetable besides fresh fruit. Cold cuts and cheese with juice and water and great croissants and Italian bread. The young men who work the dining room make a great capucchini and latte's. Our room was not large but had a nice patio with table and chairs. Tony who also works the desk was also very helpful he loaned out a hotel map for the day to help us get to the train station as we were walking. The young lady that also, works during the day ( unfortunately i did not remember her name ) was also very helpful . The hotel is a good walk to the train station (30+minutes) down hill on these ancient cobbled roads. We took a taxi back to the hotel at the end of our daily travels .. the train is very easy to use and cheap. There are few restaurants in the immediate hotel area ...only two other restaurants besides the hotel restaurant..both are very good but the Poggio Casasana is excellent with another great view of the Bay. I highly recommend the Relais Manfredi hotel ...super clean and friendly .

My Wife and I left this hotel after one night of a four night reservation for another hotel.
Before I begin on the reasons why we decided to leave, I should state that the facility is nice, and the front desk staff were extremely courteous. However, be advised that the hotel is difficult to reach, the local taxis do not look picking up or dropping off there, the view is primarily of a Military Ship Yard, and that the town, Castellamare di Stabia, is not much of a tourist destination. We found great difficulty in getting a meal in town, and the restaurant at the hotel was loathe to serve us, as it was being used for a Birthday Party. We were forced to complain in order to get served.
While this review may appear to reflect negarively on the hotel, that is not my intention. Other than our experience with the booking of loud parties, and the restriction of restaurant access, we were quite pleased.
We booked this hotel as part of a package from an Agency, and we feel that the Agency somewhat misrepresented the package. Castellamare di Stabia is not, in my opinion, part of the Amalfi Coast, which is what this trip was marketed as.

I recommend in the case of hiring a small machine to explore the surroundings.
