Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Stayed here for a week in September during covid. We had our temperature checked on arrival and hotel staff are ensuring guests where their masks in public areas. Hand sanitiser available at reception. Staff are nice and helpful.
Hotel is in a great location on the beach and has the most amazing views and great location to see the sunset at night! Pool is a good size and clean, plenty of sunloungers. Our room had a nice view over the prom out to mount foite. Clean towels everyday aswell as 1 bottle of water per guest.
Lots of restaurants within a short walking distance. The beach to the right side is better than the beach to the left. At some parts the beach is unkept (but obviously not the hotels fault).
Hotel is in a great location for visiting other parts of Italy. Naples 60 minutes on the train Sorrento 20 minutes on the train Reception also helped us with a day trip of a mini cruise to visit Postanio and Amalfi coast. 2 trains stations are in walking distance of the hotel and the trains are very cheap (the train station where the cable cart is for mount foite is the one you want for direct trains).
My only negative would be that I did not see anyone clean down any sunloungers between guest use. Although this normally would not be an issue I feel during covid the sunloungers should be cleaned or there be a self facility to clean your lounger before/ after use to minimise risk. We also did seem to have small ants daily in our shower cubicle (room 301) but the bathroom itself was clean.
Overall I would recommend staying here, especially if you would like to see more of Italy on your visit as it is a great location!

After staying here for the 2nd time (first time was in 2017), I can thoroughly recommend this hotel. There are several reasons for this.
1) Location. Situated right on the shoreline with west facing balconies, there's something special about seeing the sun set over the bay of Naples with Vesuvius on your right. Waking up to the sound of waves lapping on the beach below is very relaxing. Additionally, all town amenities are a short stroll away with the main promenade beginning at the hotel and ending near the harbour. Several restaurants and bars line the promenade. The train station / cable car to Monte Faito is a short walk away. It's a great base to explore from as ferries leave to Capri, Sorrento, Amalfi/Positano from Castellammare di Stabia. If you rent a car (like we did), a trip to Ravello is recommended too.
Be aware however that the hotel does NOT have parking facilities. They have an agreement with a local parking garage a short walk away which charges 15 EUR per day. Or you can risk parking your car street side for whatever rate is charged there for parking.
2) Service / cleanliness Very attentive, professional and friendly. In particular I'd like to thank Maurizio who has been a great help to us during our stay, giving solid recommendations for places to go and places to eat; he was very friendly and helpful and really added value to our stay there. Another thing to mention is that the cleanliness of the hotel is fantastic. Room cleaning was exceptional. Cleaning crew would come between 09:30 / 10:00 -ish.
3) Restaurant / Food The breakfast buffet was lovely with a relatively standard continental breakfast but a great selection of sweet and savoury foods. Fresh bread was lovely too. The main restaurant is a particularly noteworthy place as the dishes are stunning. It's a real experience with dishes from local produce, lovingly created and reason for them to be proud of. While perhaps not cheap, I couldn't argue with the quality of the food presented to us. Couple this with an amazing view over the bay and the stage is set for an unforgettable dining experience.

Prior to our arrival I contacted the hotel via email to request a transfer from the Naples Airport. The response was prompt and professional. The transfer was professional and the driver was at arrivals with our name on a sign waiting. Check-in was excellent. All personal on the desk were friendly and professional with excellent English. The room and bathroom are spacious. Bed, pillows, etc. were comfortable. The heating system in the room was quiet. The shower is a rainfall shower. The older narrow pin outlets are on the desk area so note this for adaptors. You need to unplug the fridge from the thicker pin receptacle to plug the kettle. We plugged our newer European thick pinned adapter in the bathroom, not having the older thin pin adapter. The patio area of the room has excellent views and good space. The room was very, very clean as is the rest of the property. All staff are friendly and professional. There is a small fridge in the room, where we removed a few stocked bar items and placed our beverages from the Supermarket (5 minutes away) There is a safe in the room and a 40” flat screen. Breakfast includes juices, excellent coffee, baked goods, plenty of fresh fruit choices, yogurt, selection of cheese and cold meat, and a few hot items. The hotel is 10 minutes from the train station, then 15 minutes to Pompeii. There is excellent walking / running along the ocean promenade right beside the hotel or one can walk the beach. We felt extremely safe in this hotel.
We read reviews about extremely loud music for parties. We asked and were told no parties while there. On Saturday night the music was so loud the building vibrated. However within 30 minutes the music was lowered to a tolerable level. The hotel needs to find a happy balance between parties and hotel guests /community.

Very dissapointed with our stay, felt like we were being scammed wherever we went! The hotel advertises that it has a restaurant, got there on Sunday, got told the restaurant is closed until Tuesday, on Tuesday we got told its closed until Saturday! The hotel advertises it has a pool so when asked to use the pool we have been told we need to pay €10 per person per day!!! Never seen this in other hotels! Especially as it says nothing about it on their website, when we told them about this they said that 'on this ocassion' we wont have to pay! Ridiculous! Turns out other guests that were at the pool did not have to pay!! The pool overall was very nice, however when ordered drinks I asked for gin and tonic, instead I got gin and water and when about the tonic they tried to tell me thst they have definietly used it! Asked for a new one and finally they brought me gin and a bottle of tonic which then tasted like it should. The cleaners would come very early in the morning, even at 8:30 - 9am which is ridiculous! When we askrd for them to come a little later they did not come back at all. We have been told that there is a parking garage nearby and its €12 per day, its was €24 euro! The overall stay was very dissapointing. There is nothing to do in the area and you are not allowed to use the beach by the hotel as its very dirty and swimming is not allowed. Do not recommend.

Consider that now we are far more organized with the closing days of the restaurant and with the swimming pool. By the way, the swimming pool was charged for every guests and our gesture to offer you the access was only a way to apologize and meet your needs and requests. Now the swimming pool access is without any charges for the hotel guests. Other services have definetely improved and we will keep going on this way trying to do more and better. About the garage and the beach unfortunately it's not up to us, but we are working harder at least to keep the area nearby the hotel cleaned and comfortable. Owner needs to decide if they want it to be a night club or 4 star hotel.
They have a roof top night club / function room that plays loud music with bass that shakes your room late at night. (So don’t expect sleep if your on level 6 and paying good money for the nicer rooms. They have toilets in the stair for the night club so you can hear people screaming which passes through the hallway which you can hear clear as day in your room.
Definitely not a 4 star hotel, air con turned off everything 30mins so sleeping at night was dreadful. They offered us to change rooms the first night but it was already late and we couldn’t be bothered packing all our stuff up as we spent all day traveling and was very tired.
For 4 stars you expect more than a shower and bath combo. Beach is dirty and can’t swim in front of hotel.
Only good thing about the place was near the water watching the sunset.
Very disappointed and regret staying here.

Our hotel also holds private events, that's the reason of the music. Anyway, in order to prevent unpleasent events, we have now decided to warn potential guests about this possibility in advance (at the moment of the reservation). In this way people can feel free to proceed with the reservation or not. After some renovations to the hotel, we have also installed soundproof doors for preventing loud music to spread out. We are very sorry about the air conditioning issue. Unfortunately we had a problem at the principal engine and there's was very little to do at that very moment. However, we really would like you to know that we replaced the old engines and now there aren't problems with the air conditioning any more. About the beach, it is not up to us that it is dirty. We really hope one day the sea will be swimmable again. In the meantime we usually take care of the area nearby the hotel, by cleaning it and by trying to keep it cleaned. With the hope, one day you decide to give us another chance, best regards.

It's a frickin nightclub on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Other nights too if you're unlucky. You pay lots of money for top floor rooms with great views and...BOOM BOOM BOOM the terrace above you is banging till midnight and then "soft" till early hours. Wake up after a couple hours sleep to cigarette packets, butts and ash on your balcony. Did I mention fireworks launching almost into your windows. Fun? Not if you think you're going to get rest. Then they don't clear up their mess but let the Med swallow it. Guys..are you a hotel or nightclub and God knows what else. So far suffered Saturday night, Wednesday night, now Friday night. As you can see on other reviews above, Manager's reply to prior noise complaints in 2023 was to see 'we will notify guests at time of reservation". They didn't. I talked to the events manager who told me things I won't repeat but suffice Disco Events are more important than guests in rooms... I recorded 89 decibels from my room on Friday28 June 2024. 10.30. so much for sleep for me and my children.

My Wife and I visited the Hotel at the end of June beginning of July 2023. After a wonderful experience last year when i visited the hotel with my daughter. We decided to splash out and book the Junior suite which is an absolutely amazing room on the sixth floor with a very large balcony overlooking the sea and a lovely hot tub in the room. We stayed for six days at the hotel and whilst the hotel is quiet and peaceful during the day with a lovely quiet pool and great service and food. However for 3 of the 6 nights we stayed at the hotel there was a party on the seventh floor. The noise was deafening and our room vibrated all around and to add to that there were fireworks dangerously close to balcony at 12:30am each night for 3 nights straight. I complained to the management team and Pietro was very understanding and offered a discount to the room. I can't fault the hotel at all for cleanliness, friendliness, service, food, Its not a busy hotel its very quiet during the day and relaxing. But there has to be a re-think on the party front as their best rooms in the hotel are right below the party room. It just spoiled what was a wonderful experience, watching the sun set each night and waking up to the sound of the sea.

Myself my wife & our 2 teenage children stayed here for 2 wks in August 2022. Our room overlooked the sea & it was lovely. Our children share a side view and they loved it. Overview - the hotel was very clean & well run. It had a lovely pool and breakfasts were exceptional. All staff were really friendly and approachable. It was so well located to everything. Restaurants were just a few minutes walk away and the cable car station and railway station were about 10 minutes walk. Thank you for our memorable stay at your beautiful hotel

I'm in my 5th night in the room and have been without AC for the while time. This is not awful considering the r Hotel is right over the beach and a slight breeze is usually apparent.
Sadly last night and tonight there's been a massive disco hosted by the hotel and even close to 1 am it's still bouncing music through the closed doors.
Last night it finished at midnight. Tonight it will be beyound 1am
It's a Tuesday night.
I went to complain and sadly met a distraught father wide lift doing the same. He me has no A C and can't shut the door as it's 28 degrees outside.
I was told at reception to complain in the morning.
I'm flying at midday but I'm packing and checking out as I don't want to sleep above a a rave and will be better off on an airport floor.
This is my second time here and I liked it up until last night when a party went on until late. I complained then about the noise and the last of ac. I was given a fan.
Stay anywhere ride especially if you have kids.
I'll never be back and and will be leaving here to go and sleep in the airport.
Never again.

Unfortunately we had a huge problem at the main engine and it was impossible to immedialtely fix it . However, we have now solved the problem by replacing the old engines. Furthermore, we have chosen to adopt a new strategy, with which it will be possible to warn our guests in advance about the possibilities of private events with music at our hotel. In this way, at the moment of the reservation they can feel free to book or to at least ask if any party is expected during their stay. Absolutely lovely hotel. Very clean, with an incredible view. We were in a superior room with a beach view and wow. Waking up to the sound of the sea rolling in and watching the sunset go down at night. The hotel is a great foundation for travelling around Italy. Naples is 30 mins away, Pompeii is 10 mins away, Positano and Sorrento are 45 mins away. You can jump on a private boat to Capri or ischia. The food is wonderful, the wines are wonderful and the service is excellent. Pietro is a character and so so helpful, he secured a trip on a lovely boat to Capri when everywhere was full. He has recommended lovely restaurants, ordered pizza for our room when my daughter was ill. Nothing is too much for him and the staff. The pool is nice to take a dip when the sun is too hot and you get a nice breeze from the sea to lie and enjoy the sunshine. The pool service is fantastic and everything done with a smile. We will definitely be coming back next year to try the junior suite as the terrace to the sea is worth the price on its own. Open your terrace doors and you can just sit there all day.

If there is a 'pretty bit' we didn't find it! I agree it would be good to hire something (we hired a car) because everything you are likely to want to do is outside the town (with the exception of the cable car, which I would strongly recommend)

Hotel is on beach, however it is not particularly nice in front of hotel, most people walked along a bit further. After a few days we just swam in sea in front of hotel with no ill effects.
There are more places to choose from in the Castellammare Di Stabia area.
