Well located in the Chianti region, surrounded by beautiful grounds. Decoration is quite rustic and a bit dated in places but everything is well maintained and very clean. Good breakfast with savoury and sweet buffets. Mattress is not the best unfortunately. Very nice welcome and friendly staff. I would recommend

We have just returned after a weeks stay at this beautiful old hotel. The staff are friendly and the owner Franco is delightful and on hand 24/7. The rooms are filled with antique furniture and have lovely views across the estate. We loved the freshly cooked croissants and flans for breakfast and enjoyed an excellent dinner one evening. Would highly...

Thank you so much for everything ! We had an amazing stay in the villa. All the staff was very nice and Franco the manager was just incredible, he treated us as a member of his family. The room was stunning with high ceilings and old furniture. The rest of the house is very beautiful with a wonderful view. We...

Beautiful 400 year old estate with lovely park-like grounds. Rooms were beautiful with antique furnishings. Family run with a friendly staff. Good buffet breakfast. Dinner in the dining room was one of our best in Italy. Try the huge Tuscan style steak with delicious roasted vegetables. Served family style. Owner is warm & friendly. He's a hugger! Highly recommend a...

My parents had stayed here in 2004, when they were visiting the region, and recommended that we stay here. We were not disappointed. The villa is situated close to everything in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Close to Sienna, Florence, Assisi and wineries. The hotel manager would hug, or shake our hands, every time we saw him. We met his family...

This place was a wonderful place to stay. Just 1/2 mile from 222. Large rooms and included breakfast every morning was wonderful. What really makes this place special is Franco and his staff. He makes everyone feel like family. Italian hospitality at its finest. We only had breakfast here so I can't comment about the rest of the restaurant. Pool...

The hotel itself as a building is simply amazing. Weird things happened though, apparentely guests from last night have used some super strong mosquito spray or whatever and the whole room smelled exactly like that. Girl from the reception said that they have tried to ventilate our room whole day but the smell is still there, she was sorry about...

Villa Casalecchi was amazing! My husband and I stayed for 5 nights. The staff is what makes it, they are friendly, helpful and want you to enjoy your stay. They helped us booked several activities and never made us fell we were asking too much. The Villa itself is stunning, a real step back in time and very charming. The...
