We stayed at Hotel Giamaika last summer and wanted to return this summer as well. It is such a nice hotel where it's easy to relax and enjoy yourself. We were warmly welcomed by the family and were able to stay 3 nights, thanks to Massimo and his resourcefulness. Most of the guests were Germans (of all ages), some were Italians. I enjoyed practicing my Italian since English isn't their strongest language. The room size differs, as well as bathroom and balcony sizes (some are quite small). Wifi a little slow. The beds were comfortable and so were the pillows (new ones?). The car park was quite crowded but there were other options for free parking as well. The pool was lovely and the breakfast had a lot of choises, including pancakes and home made cakes. The spumante dolce at the bar was very good and I love that they let you have left overs from the breakfast at the bar. We will certainly return. Grazie Massimo e Tommasi!…
We have just spent a week here with Massimo, his family and the very friendly team who run this charming hotel, their kindness and attention reflect real 'old-fashioned' values and we were superbly looked after. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood but close to the beach and front of the resort and with easy access to all amenities, equally we were able to visit Rimini and Ravenna quickly and inexpensively on local trains. a delightful experience and highly recommended.
We arrived to stay for one night after reading nice reviews on TP, but we liked this hotel so much that we stayed a second night as well. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed, the hotel has a great feel to it. The owner Massimo was very attentive at the bar and reception, his wife Maria took care of the customers at the restaurant. The son Tommasi was super friendly, he even let my husband and son use the swimming pool in the evening after closing time. We felt warmly welcomed from the start and throughout our stay and enjoyed every part of our stay at Giamaika. The pool was very nice, breakfast included pancakes, the lunch was lovely with home made lasagna. The beach is just around the corner, but the street is quiet, so it's a perfect location in every way. The only downside was that the bed was a bit too soft and so were the pillows. We will definitely stay at hotel Giamaika again!…
It was an unforgettable stay at Giamaica with family (with wife and 3 years old daughter). The food was really delicious. The room was very nice and new renovated. Beach is one street away, just 2-3 minutes walk, and the included beach package was super. I definitely recommend this hotel as a great value. Warm and friendly hospitality by Massimo and delicious full board by Jean Carlo, that was really great!
