This hotel is located very high up on a hill in the hilly Toscana. The views from the balcony was amazing and you litterary could see for miles. Nice rooms but in spite of claiming they had, the WiFi was not working in the rooms. Tidy and clean room and a nice lobby bar. Restaurant offered a really good dinner...

This hotel is situated high on the side of a hill and overlooks the town. Across the valley is the Old Town which, I am told, is over an hour's walk away. But fear not, there is a road train (called the Chianciano Express) which operates a 'hop on/hop off' service, the nearest station being a twenty minute walk downhill...

Where to start? The rooms, overlooking beautifully landscaped grounds, have every convenience. Very quiet, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The lobby is spacious, with many sitting areas. Tennis court, bocci, and pool. It is the closest hotel to the terme (spa) -- walking distance -- and yet not near any noise. I recommend eating only breakfast in the hotel, not the...

We recently stayed here for six nights as part of a Tour Group from Great Rail Journeys. Although a little way from town centre the hotel was very clean with staff who were always happy to serve its residents. The buffet breakfast was plentiful ,full of choice and coffee and tea were good. On the evenings we ate in the...

The hotel is quite good - the rooms are clean and spacious, it is located in a nice, quiet area and the air is fantastic. We found the service to be just average - we were traveling as part of a group so at breakfast we had to sit at a special table on which they placed a jar of...

The hotel is real four-star hotel. It is located outside the Chianciano Terme village. There are very beutiful old towns nearby. I was travelling with a big group. The waiters were very fast and he supper was good. Also the breakfast was okay. I didn't have to queue, the buffet was very well organised. Only minus-point was the wine. I...

Just back from this lovely hotel 5 days ago. We stopped here en route back from southern Italy via Switzerland to the UK. It is a fabulous place, set away in countryside, yet very close to the village. The grounds are delightful, full of birdsong and mature trees. The hotel itself is very good, clean, light, airy, filled with lovely...

We travelled to this Hotel with an Omega Holiday Tour in September 2012. Ok so the Hotel could do with a lick of paint however it was very clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are of a good size with a balcony and fridge, Bathroom was nice and towels were changed daily. The...

Had a 5 night stay as a base with Archer's tour of Tuscany. Option of Cristallo or Michelangelo. For once Tripadvisor let me down. I would have chosen Cristallo for location but reviews said otherwise.Michelangelo was more expensive but everyone on tour seemed happier with the Cristallo hotel. Of all the places we visited this town had little to recommend...
