Travelled with Shearings Holidays and enjoyed a very pleasant trip with good drivers who really looked after us. We had booked a room with marital bed but on arrival found we had been allocated a twin. However the young man on reception changed it for a double. The room was basic but clean apart from fridge which had mould inside.... More

Stayed at the hotel through shearings, perfect for a base camp it was central to all the places we visited so ideal for that. The hotel was very clean and tidy. We stayed half board so had to pay for our drinks. If you wanted drinks with meals you was billed at the end of stay. Was seated in restaurant... More

Just come back from second trip to Italy with Shearings, staying at the Hotel Mizar. Food has much improved since last year and room allocation much better too :) Staff are helpful and friendly especially if you make an effort to speak Italian.

My wife and I spent four nights here as part of a Leger coach tour. Our room was very large and clean on the front of the hotel, nice roof terrace, nice pool but not many sunbeds. The food was plentiful but varied in quality wildly, nice soups but the vegetable pie and the perch fish not a nice experience! ,plenty... More

Stayed here for one night as part of a Leger trip. We arrived at about 7.30 and dinner was served at 8. The food was plentiful and just kept coming. Staff were friendly. We sat in the bar for a couple of drinks after dinner and it was very pleasant. Our room did not have a balcony and there was... More

Hotel is dated but clean. We had issues with our room which was smelling like sewerage. Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked and we could not change rooms. Beds come in 2 varieties hard and uncomfortable or springs in your back awful. Do not expect a service with a smile. Many of the staff are uninterested and the head waiter... More

I'll skip comment on reception, but lead on to the accommodation. Excellently appointed and splendid balcony view. Service in the restaurant was impeccable. The food was of a generally good standard, and the maitre d, head waiter, or I know not who, had a wicked wit, spoke perfect English, and seemed ready to burst simultaneously in an aria from "Nissan... I must say that during my stay here the food was quite frankly abhorrent. Nearly every meal we had there was always an issue; whether the croissants were burnt or the salad was dry there was always some complication with the meals they provided. There was one night in particular that was truly shocking, so much so this stopped us... More

The hotel is generally rather run down and tired. There were 50 of us on this trip and just 7 sunbeds round the decent sized pool. The food was appalling - out of the 6 nights we stayed there we ate out for 2 of them. The rooms were clean
