If you are ever in Chianciano Terme, this is a great choice of hotel. I stayed in this hotel for 7 nights as part of a Grand Circle Tour. It was wonderful in every way - my room was terrific (great mattress, clean, lots of cupboard space, safety security box), breakfasts great with a wide selection of options, and when...

Stayed at the hotel as part of a Grand Circle Tour. Rooms are average size for Europe. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is quiet and located a few blocks from a bar that also offers food and ice cream. Your main interface during the day and early evening hours are Claudia and Rebecca. Claudia is a hoot...

We stayed here as part of a Grand Circle Tour. The hotel does have small rooms and a small elevator. What the place has is an extremely friendly and helpful staff, comfortable "memory foam" beds, coupled with a central location for touring and exploring. One of the most valuable assets of this hotel is Claudia. She is professional but makes...

Thank goodness Grand Circle found this hotel! Centrally located and staffed by family, it was a delightful place to spend a week in Tuscany. While some of our group had small rooms, ours (front over main entry) was very nice. There was some traffic noise, but still, good sleeping. As mentioned in other reviews, the star was Claudia. A delight!...

I was traveling with a group from Grand Circle and we stayed at Hotel Patria for one week May 29-June 4, 2014. The hotel was a small, local hotel, centrally located in Tuscany and provided a wonderful base for day trips to the surrounding area. The rooms at the hotel were small but very clean and comfortable. The hotel had...

Hotel Patria served as our base for a group tour of Tuscany. While Chianciano might not be as picturesque as some other Tuscan towns, this hotel was perfect for so many reasons. First of all, it was immaculate! And there was WiFi! The staff was helpful and pleasant at all times. Our favorite person was Claudia! Initially, we thought she...

The staff (mostly famly) was warm and friendly, the room clean and well appointed, and the location excellent for visiting not only this town but surrounding ones in Tuscany. The atmoshere was comfortable - not pretentious in any way. Free interent in the lobby was a plus as our...

My wife and I stayed at The Patria Hotel for a week and we were very relieved to discover that previous off-putting negative comments did not apply as far as we are concerned; Here is what we found: The entrance to the hotel was immediately welcoming and comfortable looking, To the right was a fine looking restaurant area, To the...

Much has already been written about the so called 4 star Hotel Patria, and I can confirm all that has been written. I want to add my report about the tour manager for Newmarket Holidays who did absolutely nothing for me, a 79 year old, when I reported the loss of my wallet, with credit cards, bank card, money etc,...

Appalling food was served on a daily basis - the evening meal proved to be inedible on a number of occasions and on two mornings the milk was off and had to be sent back. The staff were very indifferent and not helpful. The bar in the lounge area was badly stocked and asking for a drink was like asking...
